But okay let's say chun li some how lost her memories to the point she can't even remember her own name would she still be a threat.
Technique: The point of training is to for your moves and attack systems to become a natural part of your habits and reflexes even if chun li lost her memory she might not be able to do her advance techniques but basic and intermediate techniques make her a treat
Speed: You can't forget how to be fast or flexible.
power: Her attacks would not be at her peak but they would still do damage.
But back to the fight
spiderman has feats but feats mean nothing, Though spiderman has the advantage with his web why do I say this because if spidey fights chun li head on It won't take long for him to realize her hand to hand is dangerous spider man is very smart after all most likely he'll just back away and shoot web from distances, while chun li can still sense him she needs to be close to land a fatal blow while spiderman can just web her once and follow up the attack and her super arts are devastating spider sense helps so spider man has the advantage but I can't say he'll definitely win.

Because foundation I keep reading about his fighting skills and experience but does it pay off when he's powerless, I'm not expecting peter parker to beat up venom powerless just at least some street thug if he can't then he has no "fighting skils"

Being able to use your talents(strength speed etc) and smarts effectively in battle to defeat stronger and smarter opponents doesn't count as having some skills?

I never said he wasn't skilled the guy's a genius, But everyone keeps posting about spiderman fighting style and I questioned it, I metion his smarts in one of my previous post but he's no expert fighter just a genius which is still great.

but he does has his own fighting style. He may not be an expert fighter without his powers but he still does have his own style.

It's his own unique way and moves he has developed over the years to take out enemies. Since his the only one that can use that why it's called his own style.

lol, in marvel vs capcom, the marvel characters can do moves they can't do that in real. spiderman with strange super attacks i have never seen do in a comic or cartoon. and a lot of ohters. Hulk who grappes a meteor out the sky. yeah right out he middel of nowhere. most marvel characters are geupgraded!!!!!!!!!!!!!

considering the Hulk has jumped up to space and hit a meteor. That doesn't seem that strange.
Spider-man supers have actually been done in comics. That maximum spider attack is just a speed blitz. He does that all the time with tough enemies
The only one that I think was upgraded was Wolverine. He shouldn't be the fastest guy in the freaking game. he shouldn't give out more damage then guys like Cyclops.
And he defiantly shouldn't jump up into the air and have this giant x appear from him like this was an anime.
Everyone else was downgraded or in spidey case kept almost at equal level.

I have many comic-fan friends who were disappointed with how the marvel characters were represented.. its a fun game to play, but in terms of fairness to franchises.. marvel had to be downgraded and capcoms had to be upgraded... since when has ryu threw a beam fireball?.. or ken a giant flaming column shinryuken?
spiderman has been downgraded.. simply because he can do alot more stuff with his webbing and fighting arts than are allowed by pre-programmed nonsense.. (such as using the environment to evade and counter).. which is due to him being in comic form first..
meanwhile.. kikoshou was the size of a baseketball in SF alpha.. then all the sudden it turns into a huge dome?.. get the hell outta here 😆

They seem fine to me I actually like them better in MVC2 as for everybody being upgraded is debatable ryu can do a shinkuu beam that's official I don't know about the rest though, and down graded magneto can do so many combo's it's ridicules and that's down graded?
