Why the hell would she need the Exile to feel pain? And she could have done anything to herself to make the Exile feel pain. It's crap. She tried to overpower Sion and got put down... Fast.
She wasn't the greatest Lightsaber duelist for christ's sake! Sion was just better! I could think of a thousand better reasons than the one you just came out with.
Sion was probably a better lightsaber duellist, but saying Kreia tried her best in that fight is ridicilious as Kreia apparantly kicked Sion back and managed to escape and after that she came back to Sion and dominated him.
If she would have tried her very best against Sion the entire time he would have been killed.
Also Traya ,Kreia and the Exile did have a bond together the bond made him feel the force again...

She probably just wasn't prepared yet.. Not willing enough not able perhaps. Maybe she didn't think Sion would attack maybe she thought herself powerful enough to stop any attack he would launch anyways so she didn't need to pay attention. I think she just overestimated herself and lost her hand because of that...

Then perhaps underestimating Sion his hatred against her? Or what he was willing to do, I don't know... I just know that if she wanted Sion dead he would have been, that somehow she managed to run later on so she probably overpowered him there as well, she had no reason to have her hand cut off, and really she should have still had both her hands...
Whatever the reason it was stupid and a mistake, more a lose on her side then a victory on Sion his side.

Weird... I wonder how she managed to block one of his swings if she didn't raise her hand to defend herself.... 😕
I doubt she wanted her hand cut off. She was outdone in their little showdown. He is a better duelist.
She did manage to escape. This could be from any reason, not just "SH3 PWNED HIM BUT WE DIDNT SEES IT! LOl1111"
She was probably turning him to be on her side. That could be why they didn't show it. They didn't wanna exploit Kreia's plan that earlier in the game but I bet she had already turned Sion to her side at that moment.

As Janus said she didn't block any attack, Sion turned aruond and cut of her hand.
And Sion still wanted to kill her when you reach Korriban, so he didn't follow her...
