well, imho racism doesnt really exist in the magnitude which many think. i think the new 'racism' as 'classism'. a rich black lawyer sees a white kid with a mullet living in a trailer park and calls him/her gutter trash. his rich white lawyer friend agrees and they laugh about it.
it seems more and more that wealth is the definative factor of who is of a "sub-race". who's life liberty and pursuit of happiness matters more or less than others. at least thats what i observe.

Really? How would you know about racism or how much there is around.
You are white and you carry an enormous bag of privilage with you, just because your skin is light.
1 in 3 Black Americans live in poverty, as opposed to 1 in 10 of White Americans...
Of course there is racism. There is intense racism and hateret from both sides - black and white.

now take that equation and factor in the overwhelming majority of whites to blacks in americas population.
and no, i do not carry an enormous bag of privilege for being white, and quite frankly thats quite a racist thing to say (assuming that the standard of hypocricy of "generalising whites is ok, just dont generalise anyone else" didnt exist). i wont drone on about my life's story but ill just say that at 31 im still waiting for my "white society privilege club" check to arrive in the mail.

Only when you have a large number of people who are not well educated.
Racisim is not a huge deal to those who are knowledgeable and successful.
