Racially Insensitive, Racist, Or Not?

more people are getting called a Racist when all thats happening is people saying whats on their minds and its stupid.

its an all black cast now if i said i dont want to see it just cuz they made it an all black cast i would get called a racist, but if they took a show like "The Jefferson's" and make it into a movie with all white people alot of people would get pissed and say thats racist and crap.

my point is i dont get how it wouldnt be called racist for them to do that to the "The Honeymooners (2005)" and how it would be so racist to do the same thing to "the Jefferson's".

and hey im just saying whats on my mind if its already been talked about thats cool, but i dont want to piss anyone off and i just want to know why its that way.
and no im not trying to bash people i just never liked The Honeymooners and thats why i didnt see the movie.

Unfortunately in countries like Peru, although it is known that beauty exists in all races, any beauty other than "white beauty" is pretty much ignored by television standards, media, social standards, etc.

NOW we both know that beauty and ugliness exists in all races, but in South America it is RARE when a Novela, for example, displays an indian man or woman, or a black man or woman as a sex symbol.

Sex Symbols in South America are usually white looking men or women who have more Spaniard blood in them.

Now, don't get me wrong, they are hott people. But so are so many other people of other races.

I think it's such a shame that in most countries of South America the beauty that exists in those are not 100% white looking, is hindered, while the beauty of people who do look more white is glorified and emphasized.

And in countries like Peru and Ecuador, although the word "negro" is accepted by many black hispanics as just a word, it is used with no consideration for political correctness. It STARTED out as an insult/offensive term, but now its like everyone is so "used to it" that it loses its meaning.

Kind of like today when someone says "**** this , **** that" the word "****" ran out of its power, because it is USED so often that no one takes it seriously any more. DOES THAT MEAN it's not a bad word? No, it still is.

The same way the words "Negro" and "Cholo" are actually degrading classifications, but have been accepted today as just normal names by the people who are so used to it.
