Which god? Religion isn't just about believing in god. If you believe the bible then even the devil believes in god. Religion is many things. In ancient times it was a way to explain what couldn't be understood. Where we came from and all. In modern times it's more about controlling how people live, arrogantly believing we were divinley created, [i]wanting to believe in an afterlife.

In the beginning, man created god. [/B]

This man speaks the truth. ✅

I believe in God. ✅

Believe in God? Yes, I think it's a safer investment.

aahahahaha, that's the wrong answer. hahaha

I don't believe in God because God, to me, does not exist. 😛

in this case most here are refering to the christian god
are they not?
but the old religon came first... they worshiped many different gods... i belive that christianity is false becasue it takes only one aspect of a god and manipulates it into a all knowing being. When in what i belive thier are goddesses as well as other gods.

Many religons break off in their own teachings? with their own kinds of gods why would they make up all their own and say their right if in fact their is one god guiding the world? if they were real (the god that is) wouldnt they do something to keep the people at peice?
i would think so!

Bloigen, you are my god

Only when two choices are equal in probability, it makes sense to go with the allegedly safe bet. However, if the choice of a god is revealed to be a great deal less likely than the choice of no god, then god ceases to be the safe bet. Or, if both are equally likely, then neither is actually a safe bet.

If a person bets on the wrong god, then the true god just might punish them for their foolish behavior. The true god might not mind that people don’ t bother believing in it when they use rational reasons. Thus, not picking at all might be the safest bet. You just cannot know.

no because the godless religon will never know of the nonexistant god they tought of

But, if bloigen was a buddhist naughty wouldnt he of put: 'why doesnt everyone just belive in Buddha?'

because peace will never be made.

and thats just like say why wont everyone just be christian or islamic or wiccan or paggan or jewish etc. its never going to happen untill their is proff that one side is right and all others cant refuse it. but i dont think that will ever happen.

I have to say, I hate the word religion. It just bugs. For me, I believe by faith that someone had to have created the universe and everything in it. It simply makes sense. Everything happening by chance just doesn't fit with the scientific laws that have been put into place and have been determined by scientific means.

I hate to get into the topic of Evolution and Creation, but it goes along with what we're talking about. is not evolution a faith as well? We call it a theory when in actuality, it isn't. None of it, and I mean none of it can be proven. The same goes with Christianity and any other religion and even if you do not believe in any religion. It's all based on faith. No one can say that any one religion is the true religion. It's not possible.

My own personal beliefs are my own, completely and entirely. Not everything I believe will agree with any one religion. I base my faith that there is a Creator, who made everything perfect and complete. But He also created man with the ability to choose. We have been the freedom to choose whether we will make poor choices or good choices. He isn't a God who forcibly makes people love Him and respect Him. We were given that right to decide for ourselves whether or not we will love Him or love the immorality of the world. He loves all his creation but won't force us to love him back. That wouldn't be true love. I must make the decision for myself.

When I look at the beauty of the natural world and what I've been blessed with, I can only come up with that there must be a person behind all that. I can't explain it any other way. I keep my beliefs, and I'll share them with others, but I also respect the beliefs and opinions of others around me even if they don't respect mine. It would be rude not to. It's not my place to judge, nor is it anyone else's. That's how I view it. 🙂

I don't hate religion it's part of human culture but it seems to do more harm then good, you ask why people can't just believe in GOD yet there are so many...So who's the right one the christian one??

Why do people assume that if you are not Christian, you don't believe in God. I just think the Christians have God all backwards.

Most likely since christianity is the main stream religion all others don't count to those people who think that.

well main streem is a thing that grows not declines

Yes, and it's growing especially with the new doctrine of the Apocalypse now dawning upon us....so they say......Though the book of Revelation was taken out at least 3 or 4 times now....

If you look at the world, Christianity is a minority.
