Yeah, he really wanted a way out of that fight.

He knew he was going to lose his "undefeated streak", so they had to resort into gossiping. Typical Mayweather tactic.

By dodging this fight, I have lost all respect for Mayweather.

Can't wait to see Manny-Clottey fight.

I predict Manny's going to knock him down a few times, and/or pummel his face into a bloody pulp.

YouTube video

Manny's going to make history again if he wins this match.

8 titles in 8 different divisions.

Wooooooooooooooo!!

* yeah, my money is on Manny... no pun intended... 😛

* it might be a close match like with Cotto and Manny clearly getting the upper hand... 🙂

i hope manny doesn't take clottey lightly.. clottey is just.. bulky. dude's got some serious guns.. question is, is he better that manny's fire power.

Clottey's a tough, cagey fighter. clubbing him won't be as easy as it was with Cotto cuz Clottey really turtles up well. the only problem with Clottey is work-rate.
Pacman should take this fight seriously (along with manning up and taking the steriod test)

yeah.. he balls up like an armadillo. great defense.. manny should be able to wear him down though. he has the speed.

true and he's already shown that he can take punches (sans steriods?). although I'd argue that clottey has an even better chin than Cotto...and Cotto has a HELL of a chin given the fact that Manny was the only one who actually knocked him down legit (Cotto's last down was Torres a few years back and that was more of a shove). even Antonio Concreto couldn't actually known him down.
it should be a good fight but superior speed, workrate and Freddy Roach will be the deciding factors....and possible steriods.

Riiiiight 🙄

We all know who the REAL drug addicts are..
Floyd Mayweather Sr. (convicted drug felon) and Jr. (Xylocaine abuser)

do you think someone would deny drug tests and send emails out asking what would happen to him if he tested positive if he wasn't taking drugs? its just way too suspicious. i'd like nothing more than for this whole charade to be a lie but so far things are pointing against it.

* yeah right, 😐 how gullible you are to believe such rumors! you walked right in to Mayweather's tactic, coz he's the one avoiding Pacman... drug tests were never a big deal in Pacman's fights until this one with Floyd... Pacman earned and deserved all his glory, while Floyd's tactic was just nitpicking boxers he can easily beat... think seriously, my friend...

like i said dude, the last thing boxing needed is another Evander Holyfield: a great likeable hardworking boxer who is exposed as a juicer. i like manny, he's a good boxer and he's fun to watch unlike Floyd.
however, the thing we have is this:
1) you have him refusing to take the test, despite floyd's camp making all the necessary arrangements
2) you have other boxers insisting that he's shooting something
3) you have Cotto and De La Hoya, two people who respect him, advicing him to take the test to clear his name
4) you have manny offering the lamest excuse of all time for not taking it
5) you have him refusing to take up the biggest payday in boxing history
6) and when all this isn't suspicious enough you've got someone like Teddy Atlas bring up emails from manny's camp asking for it be brushed under the rug for boxing's sake

now, i don't know about you but all this is just too suspicious. like i said, i like manny and i wouldn't like anything more than for this to be BS but what we know so far points against Manny.

* your basis are all rumors, man... Pacman's camp are willing to allow blood to be taken from Pacman at least 30 days before the fight date as well as immediately after the conclusion of the bout... Roach, on the other hand, commented that he would allow a blood sample to be taken from Pacman at least one week before the fight... these tests were never a big deal...

* if Pacman is on steroids, why would Clottey accept a match with him? moreso, why would anyone have a boxing match with someone on steroids? Pacman should be banned in the first place... but no, you see, it's just a tactic by Mayweather's camp to get out of the fight knowing Pacman will just blemish Floyd's flawless record... it was just a Mayweather tactic, and you just obviously fell for it...

* the fact is clear, Floyd fears Manny... accept it...

wlel, from what i've read they were. manny's "explanation" was that he's superstituous and Floyd even said he'd take the tests the same way. right now its your word against Teddy Atlas' and no offense, but i'm going with Atlas on this one

holyfield was having steriod allegations since his first fight with Mike Tyson. how many have fought him since then?
the simple answer to your question: money
manny's the biggest boxing star right now and fighting him would mean a big payday. clottey's earning his first 6digit payday....that's why.

the fact is clear, Floyd fears Manny... accept it...

i have no love for Floyd. i hate the arrogant little shite. in fact, i'd like nothing more for Manny to shut his pretty face up.

1. How credible is your source(s)? The Mayweathers never saw how Manny SLOWLY build himself up. Parts of his training regime were shown on national TV stations in the Philippines... you can clearly see that he GRADUALLY bulked up. Steroids is a petty excuse from the Mayweathers; they had no choice but to fabricate gossips to escape the fight.

2. Manny doesn't give a damn about the money. Boxing doesn't only revolve around money. Manny's fighting for fame, pride, and glory.
Achievements and reputation weigh more than all the money in the world.

my source is Teddy Atlas. whats your source for suggesting Manny is not taking steriods?

yeah keep telling yourself that... 😂
either way you missed the point because Peejayd was asking me why OTHER BOXERS would fight Manny.

Well, my source is ABS-CBN News and GMA News.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned that Manny agreed to the drug test PER NEVADA RULES.. NOT Floyd's own rules.
And Manny requested Mayweather camp to undergo the same 'Olympic-style' tests. PBF refused.

Clottey.. maybe he is fighting for the money, maybe he isn't.
One thing's for sure though: If Manny beats Clottey, he earns his 8th belt in 8 different divisions, further solidifying his name as one of the best boxers in the history of the sport.

what belt does Clottey have? 😕

Epic fail on my part haermm

I think I misunderstood a vlog of Elie Seckbach

😂
anyway, here's hoping that Manny/Floyd takes place and the TRUE P4P champ stomps that pretty boy pansy 🍺

P.S. i'm pretty sure this whole its-off thing is just a way to milk the fight even more.

Indeed. Manny/Floyd would be an instant classic.
