* it's on both their Wikipedia profile... not mine... let's just hope their match materializes... 🙂

so you guys feel Antonio Concreto should be allowed back?

Wilfredo Vazquez, Jr. defeets Marvin Sonsona by KO @ 3rd round.

Great showing for Vazquez.
If he keeps this up, he will soon become a legend in the ring just like his father.

Anything new with Gamboa?

Manny Pacquiao VS Joshua Clottey tomorrow.

The stakes are high on Manny.

My prediction:
Manny wins by KO or Unanimous decision.

ZOMG!!!111 NO WAY!!!111@

As I expected, The Pacman wins again.

And my prediction was true: He wins via UD.

No one is on his level right now.
He's the top dog, and will remain there until he retires.
Only a heavyweight can beat him.

One of the best in the history of boxing undoubtedly.

filipino pride

hopefully, winner of pretty boy and shane will fight pacman

No doubt but then again Clottey didnt really do much. One if not the biggest fight of his career and he didnt put no pressure whatsoever. Here;s hoping Mosley wins because he will put the pressure on Manny and is fast enough to keep up with Manny.

..Manny should quit while he's on top.

just sayin'.

He will.

Iirc, he said he wants 1 or 2 more matches before he retires.

Yeh. If you saw his boxing shorts in the Clottey match, it was scribbled with sponsorships all over.

He's damn rich alright. lol.

Heard he's moving to politics after retirement.

...I hope not, srsly. >>.

I'm not gonna vote for him. I'm not sure anyone would. He has no background in politics.

But then again... we've had a lot sit in power like that... but still...

Actually he does. He ran in a 2007 local election but was defeated because the public didn't want to lose him as a sporting icon at the time.

He's also an active member of a political party and formed his own which merged into his current one.

He's been interested in politics far longer than he's been a top tier boxer.

Besides you only have to look at the US for examples as to how little political experience means nothing when you are popular....Ronald Reagan...Arnie...Kal Penn.

I know. I live in the Philippines. 😉

It's the people's background. other than the whole sporting icon thing, Manny doesn't have much in the place of law degrees or anything like that. I just couldn't see him running anything.

I know about the political party. That one's a little fuzzy - but everyone's approved of him not running as of now.

and I know what you mean by popularity - I have a few people to name off the top of my head, too. I just want to say that the people didn't vote for him just because he's all for the whole boxing thing still. I think that the people kind of want to see more... politically-inclined actions from him, and the party list is a nice, big step. A little more, and I bet he could win.

But that's just me.

i wouldn't say clottey fought in this match. he basically stood there in a ball. i loved it when the announcer kept saying "BANG!" after pacquiao's punches. he kept going for a while, even talking over his co-announcer. not to mention the FPJ double punch to the head move. lol..

i never seen manny throw so many punches. over 1200 puches in 12 rounds. hot damn! he's got stamina for sure. and in fairness to clottey, his defense is tighter than a virgin armadillo in a jonas brothers concert. and if manny could break clottey's D, then mayweather is F'd in the A. lol..

if mosley wins, then the pacman-pretty boy floyd fight seems a little anti-climatic. bring on sugar shane! but if floyd wins.. man, it would be the biggest fight this side of the philippine islands.. hell, the whole world even..

mbuhay, manny pacquiao!

".. sa manlulupig, di ka pasisiil.."

another setup oh well

* nah! hate to be nega, but the Mayweather camp will just bring up the "drug test"-issue again just to escape the fight with Pacquiao...

nah

if manny isn't hiding anything, take the blood test

he took one before, as brian kenny got him to admit on live tv

boxing is one of the most corrupt sports, yet still thrives

b proud manny, take it and fight pretty boy if he defeats steroid mosley
