Stop it.
Porter is an awkward brawler that was a stylistic nightmare for a conventional fighter. Broner was too small to deal with him at that weight and was just missing. Rd 12 showed what would've happened with a little more time.

i don't understand what you are getting at. Are u suggesting that Porter is supposed to switch up his style to accompany Broner? Furthermore, Broner and Porter are very familiar with each other and have sparred in the past. It's on Broner to figure out how to beat Porter. Porter saw a loophole in Broner's( style exploited by Maidana) and simply followed the gameplan. And it worked.
Porter had to drop weight to fight Broner. Along with the dehydration clause, its Porter who's at a disadvantage, bro.
You mean that leading left hook at the beginning of 12? The same leading left hook he tried again 4 times to very little effect? Aside from that knockdown, I think we can all agree that Porter later on went to dominate that round as well.

My point is that Broner will go on to have great success and more title victories. He wasn't dominated or exposed it was an off night with a style nightmare.
Umm...Broner was dominated in that fight, so much to the point that the knockdown didn't even matter. That fight was clearly all Porter and seeing how fast he recovered from that knockdown, it wouldn't matter if it did go longer. I think Porter would have scored a KD if it did.
Also, this fight shows that Broner either isn't ready for the elite fighters in his current state or that he has no business fighting welterweights. He's looked unimpressive every time he's stepped it up and that's not a good look for someone in his position. Another loss before he impresses against an elite and that could be the final nail in the coffin.
