I think he ran away because he was embarrassed that so weak comparing to him character tossing him around like a dall and he couldn't do anything about that because Venom is too fast for him.
May be not because of that but it was OBVIOUS that he was running from Venom.
And he is just to heavy to swim.

The part about him being thrown around is a clear sign that the writer is just using him as a plot device. Juggernaut's taken much more powerful blows than that and not budged. And it seems more like Juggernaut, who had feelings for this girl, didn't want to devastate her by smearing Venom across the floor and made up a "I have better things to do!"-esque excuse to take off.[b]
There is nothing wrong with Juggernaut falling because of Venom punches. Because this is not about strength or invincibility, this is about weight. And if Venom can send flying a truck with his hit, then sure he can do the same to Juggernaut.
And it really didn't seemed like Juggy was leaving because of his feelings to girl, coz this case he could've just hit Venom once and walk away before Venom recovers.

It seems to me you haven't read the book. Venom was the one who humiliated Juggernaut. And i'm not a fanboy. I'm just saying the facts.
