Surprise Surprise, fat boy scored.

Do you have some sort of hate for Ronaldo?

Isn't your greatest ever player more famous, sadly, for being an ex-overweight fat drug addict?

Maybe I should just focus on that instead of respecting the man's class and ability on the field. The funny thing is, Ronaldo has scored two brilliant goals, made a few shit plays but also many better ones, and people will deny him it.

Well, we are just running in circles now are we and yes I agree somtimes the scoreline doesnt tell the story however it also shows how the supposedly "dominating team" really didnt dominate if they couldnt capitalise on their chances.

Great goal by Ronaldo. 😄

Who? Maradona?

No, we're not running in circles at all. It's a simple logical premise that you are handling with worse hands than Casey Keller.

Iran wouldn't be the better team just because they got A goal. A win is a win, but it wouldn't tell the story of the game.

Yeah, football's Elvis. That said, I couldn't give a shit if he's fat, the man was truly one of a kind and even in his latter, shitter days, you can't act like the man is some shit player just because he's not as good.

The same applies to Ronaldo.

-AC

Im not Argentinian... 😕

Its true tho that he was a drug addict but drugs alone dont score goals like Barry Bonds hitting homers even tho he takes drugs.

I was referring to Dregh.

1)Was the greatest player of last century anyway.
2) As you correctly said EX - Overweight drug addict (Also, AC, you said Overweight Fat.) He's not fat anymore and he's back in action.

Do you have some sort of hate for Ronaldo?

Not at all, I said "Surprise Surprise, fat guy scored" as a response to those (including me) who thought he would do nothing else than eat in this WC.

I still think you dislike him.

Well if we are not going in circles than you believe your logic and Ill believe mine. Like when England won againts T&T yet T&T outplayed England? or like Paraguay scoring an own goal then people here saying England dominated? IMO the logic applies both ways.

doh

I didn't think Brazil dominated the 1st half but they definitely dominated the 2nd. I think it's fair to say we can all agree on that.

Pereira finally came to his sense and realized that playing with 2 tanks up front wasn't quite goin to cut it. It was interesting to see what Brazil can do when they complement 1 of their big strikers with a play maker like Robinho up front and therefore aren't as stagnant which in turn opens up their play and creates more chances.

All that being said, Japan has really played poorly in this WC, I'm very disappointed in them after their strong showing in 2002. Harks back at memories of people who claimed match fixing, although Korea has strongly competed but they should've lost against France, that 2nd goal by Viera was clearly in.

It's sucks that Essien will be forced to miss that game against Brazil.

Btw, did anyone see that game between Croatia and the Aussies. At the end of the game the referee gave 2 yellow cards and red to one of the Croatian players after they had already lost. It was hilarious 😆
Talk about rubbing it in. Man, I wish I could catch a repeat of that game.

1) In your opinion.

You thought he'd go to the World Cup and eat? Rather stupid. Everyone else is more obsessed with Ronaldo's weight and disposition than he is.

It doesn't though. If one team CLEARLY dominates, undeniably, and then the opposing team scores a late, lucky tap in, it doesn't mean they're the better team. Far from it.

ronaldo will never lose his shooting technique. he got in a good position to head a easy tap in. and the 2nd goal was true ronaldo. great shot and technique. he played better, but if he didnt get those goals, he would of looked awfully average.

it was a better performance from brazil anyway. 2nd half.

Ok fair enough, I think we have talked enough about the logic.

I have a game to go to guys so see you all tomorrow.

no, maybe because you also implyed that if a team is being dominated for 90+ minutes, then they go up and score a goal, then they suddenly are the better team. i pretty much was gonna give you another chance to redeem yourself but:

''t&t dominated england''

chance gone
