So when Brazil tied the game, all of a sudden Brazil is dominating?
Answer my question. "If a game was 0-0 with Argentina and Iran, Argentina whooped and then Iran scored a tap in, what would your logic be?
Iran scored so therefore they are better?"
That's essentially what you're saying.

Hell, when Beckham did the freekick against Paraguay, everyone was saying England dominated even tho it was an own goal.
It works both ways by that logic then. So when Brazil tied it automatically made them the dominant force?
Now in the second half its obvious Brazil was just sitting back after they realized Japan is actually trying to qualify for second round.

No, answer the question."If a game was 0-0 with Argentina and Iran, Argentina whooped and then Iran scored a tap in, what would your logic be?
Iran scored so therefore they are better?"
It's simple enough.

The answer is yes because if it was 0-0 and Argentina didnt score while Iran did then of course Iran is the better team because they scored and won the game.

Well then you've just put yourself in the catagory of "I know nothing."
You believe a team is the better team just because they get the win, despite being played off the pitch. Frightful logic, by your standards.

Im not saying this applies to every game, first off we are talking about the first half of this game and I picked Brazil to win easily.
Now back to the question, if Argentina couldnt finish their plays while Iran finished their 1 good play who would be the better team? Iran capitalised on their play that allowed them to score and win the game.
Also, you would pick Argentina just because of the countries name which is what your implying.

Please enlighten the convo and give us your take on the logic, I know what ACs answer is already.
if one team controls the game, creates countless chances that should've gone in, plays attractive creative and more importantly penatrative football... and the other team sneaks a tap in or a set peice goal... then the first team still dominated and were the better team

But did they win?
You dont win the World Cup because you outplay a team and lose 1-0.

You're not reading the question, are you? Go back, read it, then return.
Seriously. Nobody is saying a win isn't a win, but scorelines sometimes don't tell the story.
Greece aren't Europe's best country, they're European champs though.
I wish Ronaldo would score, man is well shit and fat. Oh...
