USA aren't a shit team, they just arent that good - i mean, McBride is ok, Beasley isn't bad and Landon Donovon is pretty good.

but seriously, the rest of their squad couldnt get a solid place in any premiership team let alone compete for world cup place.

how the **** FIFA worked out theyre the 7th best team in the world is completely beyond me, it seriously boggles the mind.
i mean when England played them they dropped 2 or 3 star players, but had a pretty full strength squad for our tour and we fielded....

well... i guess we played Beckham and Owen in the 2nd game, but that's about it... and even then our sheer squad strength meant we could beat em.

i mean, Carrick, Jenas, Smith, King, Defoe, Richardson etc are all quality players and will sadly never get a look in for the England places because we have such a strong midfield and strike partnership.

USA are a good team and they can get to the last 16 maybe further. They have always been hard to predict the same with Japan and Mexico.

Im thinking theyll probably make it to the quarter finals like last time. Japan and Mexico are two good teams but if theyu were to be said to do very good in the world cup, i say they would probably make it to 16th round

how can they? they have italy and the czech republic. if they get a point out of those two games it will be a miracle

im sorry but there's absolutely no way theyll pick up enough points in the group stage to qualify.

Italy will beat them
Czech Republic will beat them.
and even if they beat Ghana (who are also a damn good team) they wont have enough points

pretty decent squad in any book... but they always perform better than the sum of their parts as well, hence being the 2nd best team in the world behind Brazil

the thing you have to remember about Czech Republic is they always overperform... unlike most countries who are full of Superstars and underacheive.

They actually genuinely acheived their spot as 2nd best in the world, unlike USA who acheived their 7th position by playing and hammering the Dominican republic over and over, a country i was in for 4weeks and never saw a single football
