Your right these are good players.

Now lets looks at Italy, Spain, heck even the US has a solid defence and they have at least 4 or 5 strikers that can produce. What I mean is England doesn not have a stable lineup. Some of these guys dont step up when the pressure is on. Lets be honest and agree that their qualifying group wasnt as hard as the first group. I would like to see England reach semis or if not the finals because the past 2 world cups they have done very well and are in form to reach the finals, but from the way they play to the formation of the lineup I dont see them really excelling.

2 From Hamburg (Demel, De Jong)

4 from AC Milan. (Inzaghi x 2, Sheva, Kaka)

Like I said, once it gets to knock-out stages, all it takes it one lucky goal to put a team infront and knock-out a bigger team.

That's the only way I think Brazil will lose, if they get knocked out via a last minute scramble or something. Anything could happen though.
