Deathstroke is almost unique in comics becasue he has almost no middling feats. Everything he does with the Bat family makes him look like a street leveler, everything he does with anyone BUT the Bat family paints him as a team busting mercenary badass. Alrighty, while no one seems to like Deathstroke catching Flash once, you can't deny it when it happens 4 times. Slade has successfully tagged Wally and Bart 2 times each. Say what you want, but since he can't move that fast himself, that's a crapload of both skill and reflexes.
Which brings me directly to point 2... Reflexes... Slade sees the world in slow motion. Basically, he looks through the eyes of a speedster, though he isn't one himself, because his body physically can't. His reflexes, while he doesn't have precog, are as close to instant as one can get. Faster than Spiderman's well documented 40x human alone, and probably right on par with Spiderman's reflexes AND spidersense working in tandem. Basically, he's really... really... really really fast.
Figthing skills? He's traded blows with the best in DC... And beaten the shit out of most of them. Gail Simone (I think it was her) compared his raw skill to that of Lady Shiva. Needless to say, his skills are a wee bit better than Ben's, especially when these do nothing but add to his already insane dodges.
Healing? Doctors attempted to perform a procedure that looked a lot like open heart surgery, but failed, becasue Deathstroke's chest would close up too fast for them to really do anything. Needless to say, one punch won't do much.
Alrighty, now we get down to the kicker. Slade's arsenal is massive. His Promethium Staff and grenades are especially good. The staff blasts, as stated before, I think, have been shown to blow up helicopters at low power. Ben's durable, but not much more so than a freaking helicopter. If one won't put him down, a barrage of blasts will. If somehow they fail, Slade has grenades. Beastly grenades. Grenades specially created to put down meta humans, which have proven successful against Superboy and Wondergirl, both of whom are much more durable than Ben.
Ben is much stronger, yes... But that's it. Slade's speed advantage is massive, when it comes down to it, Thing is a brick. Slow and strong, which is EXACTLY what Slade is designed to put down. He's way too fast to get hit, and he's got way too many explosives not to killinate the crap out of Ben within a minute or two, bloodlust or no. Deathstroke's a monster.

Are you even talking? Ever heard of a period? You know, that thing that gets put at the end of a sentence? Punctuation is your friend. You can deny it all you want, but you haven't made a valid point yet. Come back when you know what you're doing.
Dizzle, there's a couple things in your retort (which I appreciated, mostly because it was educated and well informed, rather than dribble like the kid I just quoted) that I wanted to address. Now, Ben's a bit tougher than a helicopter last time I checked. He's taken hits from people like Abraxas and been fine afterward. He's even been hit by Blackbolt's Master Blow, which can nearly kill anyone it hits. I think that speaks very well for his durability. That staff would be able to knock him back, but Ben's not gonna allow himself to be hit with it more than once. Another thing is Ben's strength advantage. It's phenominally higher then that of anyone we've pitched Slade up against in these forums, which gives Ben a huge advantage, considering that he's fighting in his hometown of New York. He's also got better fighting skills than most people have given him credit for as well. This is a guy who has stood toe to toe with Namor and been able to keep up for a while. Same goes with Black Bolt, and those two are two of the deadliest men in Marvel. Also, Ben has the shockwave clap that many class 100's in Marvel use, which not only would shatter Slade's eardrums, but more than likely KO him with the sheer force. If that didn't do it, it would give Ben more than enough time to pummel him into the ground. As for the meta grenades, Ben knows his weapons. If he sees a grenade, he's gonna jump away from it, not just stand there wondering what the round object at his feet is. He's not The Hulk. Also, Ben isn't really that slow either. He couldn't tango with Black Bolt or Namor if he couldn't hit quickly, which is his advantage when he fights guys like Hulk or Juggs. I think that Slade could put up a better fight than Ben would expect, but Ben would take this one in the end.
he still isnt as fast as slade and you know that he can jump out of the way only to get blasted back by the staff into a building while he's down a grenade flies into the building taking him out or better yet slade throws the grenade in first behind ben and then shoots him into it not letting thing know what the hell just happend, he can be fast all he wants he's not as fast as slade or fast enough to evade superman as long as slade can, you really think slade hasnt taken on guys like him or what? He's taken on guys as tough as him and tougher so give me a break, bens reflexes are not light speed like slades, and he isnt a speedster, not even low grade, for all you know slade would hit him with the staff and while he's getting up run by him cutting his freaking head off with his promethium sword. Does anyone here know how fast it takes slade to heal?
i didnt say he moved as light speed i said he reacted at light speed but he can move fast enough that a fight in normal motion can be viewed in slow motion to him, he is also fast enough to speedblitz members of the JLA, as well as dodge bullets as if they were nothing and not even just hand guns we're talking machine guns, and his reflexes are as fast as flash, he would move out of the way before ben even got close to hitting him i mean it be sad ben would be trying to hit him and slade would see him in slow motion unable to touch him, is this possible, ben wasnt able to hit spiderman why on earth would he hit slade who is faster? First of all, I'm not your friend, so don't call me friend. Second, you went on the internet. That doesn't work for me, or most people. You need to get scans of these issues, or you're no different than the moron with the Hulk Killer Humanoid threads. I've seen the Wonder Woman fight, but to be honest, Wonder Woman and Thing are a bit different, and I addressed that already. Maybe if your reading and typing improved, you might be able to understand people who have better spelling and punctuation. I'm just going to say this. I've given solid proof that Thing can hang with Slade and whallop him. You haven't given jack sh!t. You wanna prove me wrong so bad? Okay, you need 3 things.
1. Intelligence
2. Scanned comics showing that Slade can hurt Ben Grimm, his sword is promethium, and that his staff has done more than blow up a helicopter.
3. Him taking harder hits than Ben, since Ben has taken hits from worse than armor piercing rounds.
