My friends and I were arguing about this for a while at school so I looked this up and figured I'd put my opinion in. I've played both games. I grew up on Zelda and crushed both of the KH games. Sora might be a badass in KH but what you dont realize is that the developers made the enemies from other games, like Sephiroth and Cloud, bitches compared to their powers in the FF series. Lets face it KH is just a faggy game with a good story line, Disney sucks ass.
Link is in another class altogether. For over 15 years worth of games, he has gone on way more adventures(solo might i add, he didnt have a retarded dog and a duck with a speech impediment to save his sorry ass when he was in trouble), and has fought with enemies way more lethal than KH has to offer. If Sora was put in a solo boss battle with any of the bosses Link has killed, he'd get his ass handed to him. He wouldnt have his drives or trinity to rely on, and magic and summons can only last for so long.
Just picture a fight with Sora and Volvolgia(OoT fire temple), he wouldnt last 1 min. If Link and Sora would ever fight 1v1, Link would own, his Naru's love would make him invincible to all of Sora's attacks...and yes even tough it depletes most of his magic, one use is all he would need. Once Link got ahold of that little bastard, it would be over in less than 3 swings. Sora's keyblade would be cut to pieces if he tried to block the blows, and the outcome would still result with a dead little kid cut into pieces, while Link walked away without breaking a sweat.
Read some years ago people saying Link will stop time before Sora will (lol) and/or go back in time and kill Sora. Ok...only I've yet to read anyone here saying the same, but where I read it was quite an anti-KH-and-everything-having-to-do-with-Sora at the time. However it's not like that now.
I'm placing my bet on Sora. Finally anyone claiming drive forms can't be used, only because of the fact Donald and Goofy isn't there doesn't seem to realize that cutscenes override gameplay, that is if they are aware of the fact Sora went into a drive form without the help of Donald or Goofy in an official cutscene. If they're not aware of this, then it's a show of ignorance.

Not to mention Master Form and Valor Form and Anti-Form Sora would overwhelm Link. And the cut scene showing Cloud vs. Sephiroth shown that Sora was able to keep up with that.
