Nope. Doesn't come close. Ben's an accomplished boxer, among other arts that he's mentioned. Piotr's got some training from Wolverine and Cyclops. Ben knows at least three martial arts, and was trained by Captain America when he was a member of the West Coast Avengers.

That's based on Colossus dying prettier, I bet. I noticed someone used Adamantium, plot device of all plot devices, involved. So, you really wanna believe that Colossus > Thanos then? Wolverine pierced Thanos' skin with those claws. It wouldn't suprise me if that happened again Wolvie cut him. Once again, Ben shows superior durability in nearly every slugfest he's in. Hell, we could go by shots from Wrecker. One made Colossus fold over like a book. Ben took a harder hit later on, and it took of one scale of his skin.
They're close, but not equal, and Colossus sure as hell isn't near as durable.

I'm just going to say this right now. I like Piotr as a character. I really do. But I like him as a character because he's a well written character. He's not a feats guy. He's in the X-Men because he's a gentle giant that compliments the rest of the group.
Unfortunately, coolness does not equate into power. As it stands in the comics, Ben's got the edge on him.
Is he so far above Piotr that it's ridiculous? Hell no. They're in extreme close proximity. However, Ben has got him in most everything, but that's due to 2 thing:
1. Ben is older. He's got years behind him Pete doesn't.
2. Ben's got the heart, and the heart is what makes a great fighter, which is what Champion said, I believe.
Every fight that these two fight will be extremely close. They're two people that would be good sports about it, but Ben's gonna take this one.
Maybe about five years down the line, Piotr may and probably will surpass him. That's then though. As it stands now, Ben's the man to beat.
Well, Hulk is really the brick to beat, but that's a different story.
