Oh, dear. Again, I'm not comparing US soldiers to Saddam Hussein. However, Mr. Tangible God, you did. I haven't twisted anything.
Here's your post again:

I hope I don't have to reduce this discussion to an English Language Class...
Uh-oh, you're beginning to go all incoherent again!
*Ring-a-ding-a-dong!*
"Please report to English Class, Tangible God!"
Let us begin...
Regardless of the spelling issue, you said that the countries are no longer run by people who won't kill innocent people. By implication, that means that you believe the occupying force (the US) do commit these acts.
Good way to get your point across.
"Class over, go and play with your balls..."

If what you say is not ABSOLUTELY clear, then what you say is twisted and makes no sense.
Yes, it is a sad world when we are held accountable for not only what we say, but also responsible for saying it clearly and coherently.

Especially to someone who must hate America if he's comparing U.S. soldiers to Saddam Hussein.
Everyone is a little more stupid for having read that comment.
Bottom line, and Bush is no less guilty, when the president waits (1, 2, 3, 4 years) to clearify publically, misconstrude comments, then he is just as guilty as having made the original comment that caused the contraversy. Learn your history people. It goes way back. And not just in America. Though, many US Presidents have done so. Fake wars aren't Bush-exclusive. However, to our neo-con friends, that doesn't excuse his actions.
Only now, the countries aren't run by men and organizations who won't kill and murder innicent civilians.
Now for Bush, well, I don't mind useful Wars for fake reasons, if the country gets something out of it, great...go for it....but it doesn't seem to be the case here, the US lost a lot of there formerly good reputation and it seems like the only thing achieved was a second term for Bush....one has to respect that though, in a "Wag the Dog" kind of way.
What I think Tangible God meant when he wrote "Only now, the countries aren't run by men and orgs who won't kill and murder innocents civilians" he was talking about Saddams' henchmen, Republic Guard, mujahadeen or however you say it, his admin/regime and Saddam himself. I never thought about U.S. soldiers. Or the Taliban regime and their henchmen since he said "countries" My take.

If he was talking about Republican Guards that would be quite strange....since he probably thinks that the Republican Guards did "kill and murder innocents civilians"
What we, at least I, are talking about is the double negative that implies the exact same opposite of what the thinks...

Yeah, that's why I was pretty sure about it, but then again, who am I to talk in the name of the floo?
