I think schools should focus more on world affairs and countries and so forth.
It's pretty important. It is the same way here though. They teach you about the American Revolution, Civil War, Depression, WW2 primarily. Not much about Vietnam or anything thereafter.
They also indoctrine you about how godly Lincoln and FDR are.

Lincoln was ruthless, he suspended Habeas Corpus and bent the Constitution to fit the/his agenda on several occasions. Not saying it was right, but his cause was far better than Bush's.
