What I said about Abreu is right. I do have no idea what would have happened if they hadn't played, but the Yankees still would have won all the games because WHAT HE DID didn't have an effect on the games.
I've watched him dog every game in Philly, hitting home-runs when we are up or down by a lot, never when we near him. I have never watched him dive for a ball, or show any hustle or heart, of course I don't like him. And the Phillies start to play better when we get rid of him.

I never said he sucks, I just said he doesn't FIT WITH THE PHILLIES. And he doesn't. There is a REASON we TRADED HIM. And there is a reason we start playing 1000 times better without him. Abreu is just an average player for the Phillies, since he doesn't fit in. But with the Yankees, he has A LOT less pressure, where he does a lot better. Abreu folds under a lot of pressure because we DEPENDED ON HIM and he failed. His defense was mediocre, and I'm being generous with that one, his lack of hustle and diving for balls really effected the team to.
And Lord Evo, I would bet a good amount that the Yankees don't win the WS. They would play the Twins or ChiSox for round right? I don't see them getting past that.
ok i see them beatin the twins 3-1 with santana gettin the only victory, and the whitesox pitchin has been horrible and even tho they got hot bats it wont be any match for the yankees right now, and they got sheffield and matsui comin back so they really have no chance. lol its funny you even named the whitesox, there not even the yankees biggest threat. as a matter of fact there biggest threat isnt even gonna be in the playoffs.. ANGELS, but there biggest competition will be the A's IMO and i still think the yankees can beat them

I'm talking about a different kind of pressure. There was pressure on Abreu to do great EVERY single day. And before we had Howard and Utley, if he didn't we would most likely lose.(We might have lost even if he did also because we weren't exactly the best team) In NY, Abreu can go 0-4, and it won't matter because they still have A-Rod, Jeter, Posada, Giambi, Damon, and Cano. We only have Howard and Utley, and Utley has shown he shouldn't be batting back in the line-up, he should be third.
Comparing him to A-rod is rediculous, A-Rod is considered the best player in the league by some people. And with A-Rod on the Yankees, since he is supposed to be great, they depend on him almost as much as the Rangers did. And, the Yankees, being in NY, and being in the race all the time(f*ckin buying the race face-plain) it puts even more pressure on A-Rod.
