Hey, Pedro got the win tonight.
Yeah, I said that before the game started. I was just LOLing at the thought of Pedro pitching for the Phillies. I liked what I saw though, his velocity was there.

I am hoping that by the end of the month they find out he doesnt have it in him to keep making starts and they try to get Jamie back in there and he says F you guys I am retiring.
Honestly, everybody here loves Jamie. He's a fan favorite, but quite frankly he can't get it done anymore. Don't be fooled by the 10 wins, he has rarely pitched good, and has the 2nd worst ERA for NL starting pitchers or something like that. His ERA at home is over 7. The only reason he lasted this long is the rotation is basically out of respect. A good portion of his wins, also, came in blowouts where he had to pitch with a big lead, which would make it easier for him.
Plus, Jamie is a classy guy, and he wouldn't do that. Although retirement is probably the best thing for him, because he was really struggling before going to the bullpen.

I'm not saying he's Mickey Mantle, don't get me wrong. But if he can bring his average back up to a point where its hovering around .300, added with him being in center, and taking into account that he's owed only 25 million for the next three years, its a headscratcher that they just let him go for nothing.
It's a head scratcher for sure.
lol Moyer and Pedro combined for a 4 hitter tonight against the D-Backs. I was at the game, and Moyer got a standing O when he entered, and when he got an infield hit(lol). Maybe all you needed to do was piss Moyer off and he would start pitching good again, even thought the D-Backs aren't exactly good on offense besides Reynolds.

Long story short. A pitcher in TO's farm system is about 5'7'' and 155 pounds. He is currently playing at this level:
"A 12-6 record with 17 saves in two years in the minors...a sparkling career ERA of 1.95...199 strikeouts and only 60 walks -- these are numbers scouts love about Tim Collin"
Has currently 101 KO's in 65 innings. That's ****ing nuts.
I assumes that's not sarcasm?
Anyways,
I thought you guys would like this.
