Well, it was a like a month ago. I didn't know he was doing well.

I remember reading he had a couple of bad games or so.

It was the three right after the trading deadline...he was sending a message that he wasn't happy to be in a Blue Jays uniform still.

Oh.

I don't think he is that angry. Just annoyed.

Looks like we'll be seeing a play-in game on Tuesday.

Bring on the Rockies! w00t

Twins win the one game playoff, then then beat the Yankees in the first round. You heard it here first. 😛

If they had reliable pitching then maybe but I think Det/Minn are both just fodder for NY.

I think the Cards look like the best team going in, if Boston's SP are healthy they are right there also.

If Hamels and Lee are on, the Phillies have the best shot. It's as simple as that. Those two can account for 3-4 wins each by themselves. Red Sox are right there, too, I agree with that.

Hard to have faith in Hamels at this point. Carpenter/Wainwright I trust more right now. And Cards bullpen is much safer.

Hamels will be fine once playoff time comes.

****, I read sports new on a regular daily basis but I did not see any news on how the Blue Jays fired Riccardi and hired the assisstant GM.

Yup, he was fired straight away. Omar Minaya offered him a job, though.

He was pretty good at developing young talent.

He wasn't an awful GM, but not very good.

He's mediocre; not good, not bad. Though I think he was foolish for not trading Halladay.

Oh yea Halladays price will be much lower this winter.

I don't think it was Ricarrdi's decision.

As for the Halladay trade, if they got fair value then whatever but no teams were giving good talent for Halladay. I'm glad they didn't trade him.

So why did the Twins build a stadium and not a dome? I guess they could not justify getting something new if it was just a second dome. But man its gonna suck playing there when its in the low 40's. They need to shorten the baseball season, cut off a couple weeks at the start and finish.

And add more playoff teams.

Would need to re-do divisions for that I think and make it more like NFL.

I don't think they need to redo the division.

Division winners go 1,2,3 while 3 teams with the highest percentage are the wild cards.

This is a great game.
