It was obviously a statement made in the heat of the moment but it was Busiek showing how tough the fight was. It might have been short, but it took all Clark had.

Don't confuse me not wanting to low ball Clark with being unable to low ball Clark. He might not have a shitty durability feat on par with being knocked out by a bullet -Gas station is pretty low- but he has fair share of poor showings.
