True, Kit Fisto might be a Master, but as I have said before, the Jedi were trained more as keepers of the peace/diplomats. He might be an expert warrior, but I don't think he's a match for one who has been trained his entire life by a Sith quite intensely.

I never made that point. I really don't see this as being too far in Fisto's favor. According to EU, Fisto could hang longer than Qui Gon and maybe even take this say, 3 or 4 times out of 10. However, ROTS came along and now Kit Fisto is the biggest joke of all time, barely able to handle Darth Sidious.

In Cestus Deception, it mentions that Kit Fisto has an unorthodox fighting style, due to the fact that most of his moves utilize his unique vertebrae ability. If anything, Kit would outmaneuver Maul, by dodging his attacks and then hitting him with his own (as he did quite often in Cestus Deception).
An unorthodox style is nothing compared to Teras Kasi! Teras Kasi just happens to be one of the deadliest and most mentioned Martial Art in the Star Wars Universe. And Maul just happens to be a practitioner.
Actually, you should start finding proof as to how Kit is going to be able to hit a Sith Assassin with the training of Teras Kasi.

Kit Fisto’s unlimited vertebrae would make it exceptionally hard for Maul to get a decent hit in. And the fact that he has previously killed four jedi masters does not mean he can kill kit. I mean, did that help him in defeating Kenobi?

At least Maul was suprised and he had just finished killing one of the greatest Jedi Masters.
Kit was expecting Sidious and he got pwned.
No, Kit’s tentacles would not be able to detect Maul’s emotion if it is clouded by the dark side. It’s not because Maul’s special. I don’t get the last statement there, about him being unarmed, and I’m sure I’ve never said that.
And if it wasn't, his emotions could be dark enough to hurt Kit, seeing as we've seen people get hurt before when they try to read Maul.
