Amazing game. Spent literally 6 hours playing it non-stop. I'm playing Single Campaign on Hardcore and the co-op on Casual since my partner isn't used to the controls and he will become more of a burden than an asssist in co-op. Played versus online. Felt nice curb stomping and chainsawing the noobs. LoL.Great Graphics, Great Gameplay, Great Sound, Great Characters, Great Co-Op...oh well what more could I ask for?

But then I think about how I don't have broadband to play it anyway, and that causes me to be in limbo about wanting it.
I'm still crossing my fingers that my area will get broadband soon so that I can be done with this dilemma.

One word... Co-op (is that a word? It's short for Cooperative, my point stands). The Halos had pretty short campaigns as well, but the co-op is fantastic... even after I beat the story, I played each mission literally thousands of times either by myself, or (most of the time) with a buddy. Gears of War's Co-op looks astounding, even (gasp) maybe better than Halo's, only because of the teamwork necessary to get through it.
Playing this game with a friend on insane is going to be just like the early attempts at Legendary with a buddy... basically, it's going to ****ing rule.

Im playing on Hardcore and I'm near the 10 hour mark and I just started the 4th act. I'm seriously getting my ass handed to me a bit....stupid heron guards and thier fancy weapons.
I do wish the storyline was alot more fleshed out better. I would like to know about the main character. I also think they are missing a big chance without telling the story about the enemy or what happened in those 14 years and beyond.
I do like the missions though....that 3rd act was creepy.
