Sure, in some sort of freakishly one-sided Mr. Majestic vs Hawkeye fight. However this is a team bout, and the Avengers have some of the best teamwork in comics.

Well, that might fly or not in a "Hawkeye and Mar-V play cat and mouse through the abandonned city" type bout, depending how good a stalker you think Clint is.

Again though, you guys are are outnumbered over three to one here. SOMEBODY's got my back while I'm watching someone elses. Mar-V MIGHT get the drop on Hawkeye while his attention is elsewhere, but he'd find himself getting jumped by somebody else as he moves into position.

Don't underestimate Ant-Man. While everyone else tussles I'll skrink down to stay hidden then I'll spring and hit members of the Authority with a burst of pym particles to skrink them down to my level. Then with my mastery of insects and the feet of my teammates I shall crush!!!!!!

Why didn't the authority use all of their powers? They could crush even captain America's jobber aura by turning it into cologne with the doctors powers.

Besides Cap's Jobber Aura would actually stop Doctor doing that. That's the definition of jobber aura...enemies don't use all their stuff, even though they have ways of doing that.

Eloquently put , i thought giving us the entire authority's powers would be overkill. It would make things too damn easy as we'll were already powerfull enough as it is.
