ID is a code word for Christianity, so it is invalid to start with. Evolution is a product of cause and effect and that does not require an intelligence ,but it does not rule one out. Intelligence is irrelevant.

no you didnt...you posted something showing that some things in the universe have mathematical similarities...i read no evidence of any designer
Regardless a mutation has no point nor a function it is simply a mistake how can adding that to system that came from chaos produce complexity ?
the genetic mutation is a mistake...the way that genetic mutation is expressed and subsequently acted upon by outside influences is what gives it the illusion that it is orderly
because almost all non beneficial mutations are weeded out by competition it is only the beneficial ones that survive...hence it makes it look like all mutations are beneficial and thus are someone "chosen"
which is completely ignoring all the animals/plants which dont survive
hence making it look like order from chaos
look at all the genetic deformities in humans... diabetes for example
they only persist because we have the technology to allow them to persist...if humans were of a ferral state then these things would simply die out
