Unfortunate. He ruined his career again in the states. Tested positive against Couture in his UFC days, and now this.
He's still big in Japan as a Pancrase fighter and pro-wrestler, so he'll be fine financially, but this is going to effect any future fights in the states.
Possible replacements are said to be Belfort, and Lashley.
I'd prefer to see Monson step in. Monson/Fedor would be a great fight once it hits the ground. Stand up is all Fedor.

Affliction folded their mma promotions and are now back to selling t-shirts only and are back to sponsoring UFC/WEC. Apparently Dana's twitter read "Oh yea and welcome back tito"
It was inevitable that they folded. With the UFC growing more and more each day, Is there any promotion that can give them a challenge? As for Tito, I wouldnt mind seeing him fight in the UFC. Not sure if he'll do much of an impact.
Originally posted by Darth ViciousI doubt it. His best days are WAY behind him IMO

Aleksander Emelianenko:"You can deal with UFC, I know that they have flexible contract system. All these talks about "strict" contract terms with signing with UFC, come ONLY from Vadim Finkelstein, who wants to push his owns business projects through Fedor's fights"
From a recent interview conducted by Sports.ru
Problem=Finkelstein
Fedor could have been in the UFC years ago.
Bad management, Fedor could have made way more money, and that's all the guy wants to do.

Agreed, this is ridiculous, their big announcement today is that Fedor will headline the EA MMA videogame. (Dana WHit said no one in the game would be in the UFC, but i think he would give into this) But I cant blame the ufc for not wanting to co-promote with M-1. All they have is Fedor. I think he is going to lose his "status as the number 1 p4p fighter in the world" soon the UFC heavyweight division is getting stronger and it is the best out there. At this point i think his brother could be in the ufc before him.

I know Rothwell and Gromley are one of the two.
Henderson vs Silva II is next up! I can't wait.
Originally posted by Alpha CentauriFedor has a big fan base, and he's on demand. He's easily the best heavyweight right now. A match against Brock Lesnar would be a classic.
Besides, Dana has a good thing going with Lesnar. He has someone the fans hate, so they'll keep paying to see him get knocked out. He's gonna rake in the bucks.
Why would they bring Fedor in to knock him out?

From a business stand point, UFC is doing the right thing. M-1 has crazy demands.
Originally posted by Alpha CentauriNo question. Lesanr's wrestling credentials are ridiculous.
Brock is a beast, attitude or not, he's the real deal. However, Fedor has fought bigger men. Had them LITERALLY on top of him and made them tap.
What do people think? Lesnar could hand Fedor his first (Really) loss?
-AC
Fedor won't submit Lesnar. Lesnar knows the game now, and has legit trainers.
Only way Fedor wins is by KO/TKO. We saw Lesnar get rocked by Mir's knee in their last match. Fedor needs to land one clean shot to knock him off balance.
It's a tricky match up, which probably won't happen.
And I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lesnar defeats Fedor. I'd say Fedor via KO though.
Rumors:
So much drama, Mousasi is my favorite fighter, would love to see another Armenian in the UFC.
TJ DeSantis on Sherdog radio just mentioned UFC has sent Strikeforce a C+D letter in regards to the Babalu/Mousasi fight. Strikeforce's Mike Afromowitz responded by saying Babalu is Strikeforce's property and has been since 2007 but didn't say anything about Mousasi.
Mousasi was lied to about the amount of money the UFC offered him by his manager and encouraged to sign with Strikeforce for less than half of the purse amount. Mousasi found out and verified it with the UFC and then confronted his management. I don't know what happened after that.He is PISSED and anyone in the media can ask him- I see no reason why he would lie.
