But the fact remains that Chuck had a bad injury that affected his performance against Rampage. The point stands.
Then again, Rampage probably took it easy on Chuck because he knew of the injury beforehand. 😈

It's basically the same aside from a few minor details. In any case, K-1 level striking is quite a few notches above MMA striking, which I think we can both agree on.

Chuck's style does not lend itself well to an aging fighter. Just like Roy Jones Jr. has shown in his last few fights. Better?
...but I'm watching you. uhuh

You and your damn compromises. uhuh
I never commented on the Fedor fight earlier. I must say I am a bit saddened by his loss. The concept of fighter who has acheived such a high degree of skill and become unbeatable is appealing to me. Fedor, while not my favorite fighter, was a bit of an inspiration to me. I still respect him as a fighter, but that "Final Boss" mystique is a little tarnished.
That said, I do think Fedor will beat Werdum in a rematch. If anyone noticed, Fedor practically lost to the cage. I thought it was dangerous for him to stay in Werdum's guard like he did, but he continued to rotate to the right and escaped submission attempts.....right until he bumped into the cage. I can't shake the feeling that this loss was less due to Werdum's ability, more due to Fedor's oversight.
Also, Cung Le looked great even though everyone overlooked his fight because of Fedor. I am a big fan of properly delivered spinning techniques and that spinning back kick that dropped Smith was quite a treat.

👆 Wonder where he'll turn up next?
I also find it unfortunate that Fedors aura of invincibility has been dissipated. However, this concept of a rematch imo is simply a way for Werdum to duck the new and roided out Ubereem. While i was fairly confident that fedor would beat werdum i honestly was leaning heavily towards overeem in a fight between the two of them (Fedor and overeem). I think that this time werdum would have less of a chance at beating overeem than fedor would considering that Fedor is a much better striker than he is. I highly doubt he can get overeem down unless overeem willingly jumps into his guard, and he would get decapitated on the feet.

Fedor got sloppy & lost. Didn't respect Werdum's BJJ enough. He deserved what he got. I still think Fedor's better tho.I like Brock, but he's getting KTFO 2nite
Rotates right.
Attempts to rotate right....only he is thwarted by the cage.
Werdum deserves his win, but I'm anxiously awaiting 'dat rematch.
