I think if that no-good criminal ******* Sonnen gets a rematch w/a healthy Sliva, Silva is going to beat the shit out of him. Rashad's KO of Forrest wasn't lucky. Yeah, his epic takedown defense he's showcased in the past when he was healthy against the likes of Newton, Lutter, Takase, Henderson, and Okami really lend credence to the fact that the fight would have gone any differently.

Say what you want, but the fight speaks pretty clearly for itself. Silva ended up taking the most amount of strikes in any UFC fight, ever.

It was a winning effort, but it was after getting his ass handed to him for 23 1/2 minutes.

It blows my mind how Silva fans can watch that fight and still have the balls to say shit like "he'd beat the shit out of Sonnen in a rematch." Huh? So those take downs he was landing damn-near at will in all 5 of the rounds was just a fluke?

Give me a break.

I'm not out and out saying that Chael would beat Anderson in a rematch, but if he trained a little submission defense, who knows? If I were to bet on Chael in a rematch, it certainly wouldn't be without merit.

A rematch between chael and Anderson would definitely be a tricky proposal but if Anderson comes in in better shape then he might be able to finish this on the feet. He did knock chael down the last time and he was certiainly considerably slower than normal during the fight.
He will get taken down again though if he doesnt try to end it fast on the feet since chael is just that good of a wrestler.

Probly wont get to see it anytime soon though. Chael and his shit-talking dumbass (hella funny though) is in too much trouble right now.
