Ok... Guess not.

Honestly, I expected Shogun to try and do just that.

I think Shogun game plan went out the window with a flying knee to the face of the first round and Jone mass sapping his cardio with the ground game that took place.

I would love to see a rematch between them. If Jon Jones defeats Rashad, Machida, and rematches Shogun and some others and still wins. He might as well move up to the heavies IMO.

😂 Rampage was right. Jones did choke(him)

Lmao all of that was expected, And it happened lol.

Kinda late but here it is.

I don't understand Rampage's reasoning that he avoided leg kicks because of Jones's takedowns. Not only did Rampage do a good job of defending them for the most part, but this was a simple game of odds. If Rampage does not use leg kicks, he is nigh-guaranteed to lose. If Rampage uses leg kicks, he has increased chances at victory. It just seems smarter to go for the leg kicks. Maybe other fighters took notes when he did land some successful kicks.

I am happy Mark Hunt won, even if it was a sloppy victory. His ground game has come a long way.

Koscheck's victory over Hughes was basically expected, so I've nothing to say here.

I didn't expect Gomi to win, but I sure as hell rooted for him. By default, I root against the Diaz brothers. They'd have to fight a douche of otherwordly proportions for me not to.

.

He didn't seem to have any gameplan other than stand there... No jab, footwork, nothing. His corner was clueless, as well, just a lot of yelling.

Rampage should have charged forward and flying knee'd Jones while he was gorilla walking the octagon at the start of the fight. 🙁

rampages best shot would be to be aggressive with his striking... its not like he was going to win on the ground.

Yeah. I was just talking about his boxing skills and he used basically none of them. I agree about the corner too. When they kept saying "you've got to get in. GET IN, RAMPAGE,!" I bet he was like "no shit."

It seemed like Rampage lost before he ever got into the ring.

I'd have been happy if he'd done anything except watching Jones like a deer caught in the headlights.

Also, what was up with the Jones vs Rashad thing? Jones seemed uncharacteristically assholish to Rashad. Did he and Rashad have a falling out at some point?

If only Mighty Mouse could have stopped those ****ing takedowns! 😠

Yeah. I wonder what he meant by that "ruined my special nite 2x" stuff.

I think he's mad about Rashad coming into the octagon in his fancy suit while Joe was interviewing him (did Rashad to that after the Shogon fight? I forget). But that isn't Rashad's fault, 10 to 1 Dana told him to get up there to promote the next fight.

I dont take anyone in the edgar maynard fight. they are too evenly matched. I want to see it so badly.

i really really want gray to lose

i just want to see a great fight... i loved there second fight. these guys dont do any stupid shit, they go all out

It was great. Edgar finally got his revenge!!!!
Stann looked useless. How do you get finished by Fail Sonnen of all people? Sonnen should have to beat Vitor 1st before he's considered for a rematch w/Anderson.

Jones is my 2nd favorite fighter right now but if it is what you're saying, he showed that he's got some growing up to do twice that night. 1st was when he threw Rampage after the round was over ( 😂 Cracked me up, but it wasn't right)

Sonnen would own Vitor.

Maybe. Still, beating Stann doesn't mean you deserve a shot. Fail & Vitor both lost to Silva & then finished low tier opponents. Now they should fight each other.

What did you think of Bones/Rampage? 🙂

Giving Silva the worst beating he has had in the UFC means he deserves a shot.

That Jones is still overrated...I never said Rampage would win.
