I agree, but Ronda said she won't move up iirc. She thinks "Cyroid" can make the cut when she's not juicing.

Jon Jones claims he doesn't want to fight Machida again.

And K-1 is getting a deal with SpikeTV. Pretty cool.

I've been thinking... that the two Invicta cards were more exciting than anything UFC event so far this year.

How sad is that?

UFC 151 canceled. Hendo injured. Jones refuses to fight Fail. Fail honestly shouldn't be anywhere near a title shot in any division but Jones should have ****ed him up anyway just for fun.

Lyoto was sceduled to fight Jones on UFC 152 (now 151) and, no shit, he declined it! Lyoto declined a title shot!
Now, it's Jon Jones vs ****ing Vito Belfort!
Where the heck is Shogun Rua!?
And what is going on with that Light Heavyweight division!?

I'm still catching up on some of the Invicta fights, but many were pretty exciting.

I don't blame Jones for declining the fight. He would only have like 3 days to train for Chael, but it would have been funny to see. I think he would have won either way. Dana is pissed at Greg Jackson for advising Jones against it.

Lyoto declined because he wouldn't have enough time to train. Machida arguably has the best shot against Jones right now. I'd rather have him fully prepare than to go half-cocked just because a fight fell through.

Shogun will definitely need more time to work on his cardio. 😛

To elaborate on the Invicta thing, men's MMA has a much larger talent pool right now. More talent usually means more skill at the highest levels. Unfortunately, higher skill often translates to less action packed fights. We've all seen the much anticipated showdowns between top contenders that turn into fighters circling each other for 3 rounds.

The ladies are hungry and have something to prove. They always seem to throw down.

I agree. Shannon Knapp and Janet Martin gave women's MMA a pretty big gift with Invicta. The ladies are really making it happen right now, which is awesome.

Jones apologists are gross.

Perfect, time to see some real fighters.

UFC should have seen this coming with such a weak card. Jones should have taken the fight as he would have definitely gotten himself some goodwill but he is within his rights not. Hopefully vitor vs Jones is interesting

The fact that Chael would be fighting for the LHW belt is hilarious.

The fact that the entire event hinged on one fight is pitiful.

UFC is bush league.

👆 I keep trying to imagine Vitor giving him hell, but I'm just not seeing it. It would be extremely hilarious if the guy that beats Jones is Vitor though.
