I got Big Country by TKO, Ricci by KO if he can keep the fight standing, and he trained at Tri-star for this, so I have faith he can even though he is a LW (there a vids of him sparing with Rory even), del Rosario by TKO, Guillard by KO and Poirier by sub or decision.
Also think Pyle will win on the prelims.
Hmm seems I picked them well tonight. Have to say Matt was looking great up until he got dropped, it just goes to show you how big an advantage pure toughness (chin and power) really is.
Felt a bit bad for Ricci he got completely dominated as I predicted.
How do people think Shane/Nelson would have gone?
Hmm think I may have overlooked a couple of people at MW in my rankings, namely Mark Munoz and Yushin Okami.
Anyone have any idea how good Mark Munoz's MMA wrestling is? I'm thinking either Chris Weidman is just that good, or Mark's MMA wrestling just isn't that great, despite how impressive his collegiate wrestling was.
Yushin Okami tbh I kind of forgot about, but he's been a top MW for a really long time now, and was compeltely owning Tim Boetsch until the thrid round finish.

Meh, that's not a terrible list per say, but I'd feel much more comfortable with a top 10 p4p list that includes the true lightweight champ Frankie Edgar, instead of someone who got knocked out cold in a minute in his second to last fight (Cain).
I'm thinking he really underestimated Cain and looked past him a little bit, thinking instead about Overeem. Plus he didn't really look himself to be honest imo, the wrestling wasn't a problem as he showed pretty amazing defencive wrestling for pretty much the entire fight save a couple of moments, the problem was that he seemed to gas quite early and striklign he just seemed a little tentative, or like he was surprised at Cain's pace or something.
Also damn Junior's chin is pretty amazing. Right up there with Mark Hunt and Roy Nelson maybe.
When was the last time the champion got dominated so badly? Jones-Shogun was probably more one sided but at least it finished in the 3rd. Anderson-Chael was bad but it had the comeback submission.
I'm thinking probably... Overeem or Werdum gets the next shot.
It sounds like hindsight, but I had a feeling that Cain would win. This fight was about what I expected the first time. Dos Santos suprised me with his ability to defend some takedowns so late in the fight though. I like both of them, but some part of me is happy that Junior lost. I've always felt that people rate Dos Santos WAY too high on the p4p lists.
