lol had a feeling you'd say something about that. I'm not saying those guys are better than Silva, but stylistically I think they are tougher matchups for Georges. Hendricks and Ellenberger are two very good wrestlers who are also extremely dangerous strikers, and Jacare, Roger Gracie, and Maia are all guys who can potentially outgrapple GSP. Anderson has great TDD but he has shown weakness in defending against double leg takedowns from wrestlers of Georges' calibre, and he hasn't shown amazing scrambling ability from the bottom. He has a chance to finish Georges as long as the fight is standing, but Georges will be arguably the best defencive striker Anderson will have ever faced, I personally feel that it is far more likely Georges puts him on his back and holds him down for all 5 rounds, then it is for Anderson to really hurt him in the limited time the fight is standing. I just think itsmore likely Ellenberger/Hendricks may be able to keep the fight standing and are able to knock him out, or Maia/Jacare/Roger are able to outgrapple him, possibly submit him, though I guess there is a good chance GSP doesn't risk takign the fight to the ground, and is able to keep out of range of their takedowns.

Kim Winslow must be the worst ref in mma...stopping Tate vs zingano when Tate was clearly shooting in for a takedown. Smh

On the other hand, it was a pretty brutal fight and props to zingano for the win. Needs to improve Tdd defense to have a chance against rousey though.

Yeah, just saw the fight. Tate was definitely going for a takedown.

Kind of a shame, since Tate was winning. I really wanted to see her rematch with Ronda. Cat has the striking to deal with Ronda on the feet, but I'm not sure if her wrestling has the proper answer to Ronda's judo.

It's like fighters think the judges will go "Oh, he was getting taken down and controlled the whole match, but he totally looked like he didn't care. We'll give him the decision. He could have won if the other guy wasn't beating him."

Robert Whittaker gained a fan in me today. That lead arm down, Philly Shell looking style is so damn cool to watch.
