Cat Zingano is out due to injury. Miesha Tate will replace her as a coach on the upcoming season of the The Ultimate Fighter against Ronda Rousey. Personally, I think this'll make for way more entertaining television considering how much Ronda and Miesha dislike each other + they are very vocal women.

WE LANDED ON THE MOON!
^ 😂
Josh Rosenthal(referee) was sentenced to 37 months in prison for, among other things, intent to distribute 6 million dollars worth of weed.
First off, I am so glad to see our tax dollars put to such good use. 🙄
Secondly, hot damn. 6 million dollars. Hot damn.
Welp, so much for Silva not being interested in a rematch.
Silva vs Weidman II happens this December. Along with Tate vs Rousey II. The makings of good card. Hopefully, the other fights will be as hype.

Silva/Weidman II catches no ones interest? Tate/Rousey II either?Too far off?
I have almost zero interest in Silva/Weidman II. Silva fans are cling onto the delusional belief that Silva only lost because he was cocky and that he will show up serious and wreck Weidman... which is laughable if you ask me. Do you know what happens if Silva doesn't drop his arms and taunt his opponent? He gets taken down and controlled until the round ends or the ref stands the fight up. Silva fights like he does for reason, and that's because his ground game is abysmal and he needs to get his opponent angry and trick them into striking with him... because that's the only way he knows how to fight. Silva had to do what he did because he had nothing for Weidman in on the ground in the first round, and Chris wasn't taking the bait Silva was giving him like all his other opponents, which required him to take more and more risks until he was knocked out.
Hopefully knocking out Silva hasn't unrealistically inflated Weidman's opinion of his own striking abilities (don't want to see him become Rampage and forget he knows how to wrestle), because if he is smart he takes Silva down and works him over on the ground. If Chris fights smart he beats Silva 9/10.
Hate to see someone lose their title fight and go to the bottom of the ladder because of a freak injury. Aldo was winning pretty convincingly, and doing it without kicks, but he was starting to gas - as he does - and KZ was starting to come alive. The champion rounds might have been very if things played out differently... of course that goes two ways and if Aldo didn't hurt his foot in r1 he could have chopped off KZs lead leg with those brutal kicks.

Anyone remember when Shogun was ranked number 1 LHW? 🙁My heart sinks every time I watch him fight now.
Alistair, I don't even know dude. I want to say he is too assured himself, but this is his second KO. There's only so many times "he got cocky" can be used as an excuse.
Faber is still beast mode.
Yeah poor Shogun. Now it's pretty much a coin toss if whether he will win or not. I think perhaps after beating Machida and battling injuries perhaps he feels their's less to prove?
As for Overeem I think Bas said it best when he mentioned he has a hard time coping with combination fighters. Overeem himself is somewhat like a a good, accurate, sniper rifle. He can get the job done in one good shot, but if provoked to engaged in a fire fight gets hit everytime.
