Rampage really showed the world how much is grappling has come, he's is really turning into well verse fighter since his Pride days, and he doesn't look like he's slowing down anytime soon. I think if Henderson would have more aggresive with his wrestling instead of trying to standup with Rampage he coulda won, but alll the credit goes to Rampage for that fight, would love to see Dan work his way back up the ladder for another shot, and see these two go at it again.

but as for the Rampage vs Henderson

that was an instant classic. Hendo displayed great greco skills and rampage showed why he is one of the best at LHW. Hendo really gassed after 3 rounds. wasn't expecting that. you could hear Lindland in his corner yelling to take Rampage down and wrestle with him. Rampage definitley one but i would have called it a split decision.

i dont believe that you guyz thought Kongo would defeat Cro Cop. i mean come on, Cro Cop is a top notch K1 Kickboxer. He went the distance with Ernesto Hoost at the K1 Word GP in 99'. Cro Cop just wasnt the same, and hasn't been the same since he stepped in the octagon against Eddie Sanchez. he just looks like a complete different fighter.

im not taking anything away from Kongo, cuz he is a beast. very intelligent fighter and knows exactly what he's doing. great win for him

'll admit that I personally didn't think that I though Kong was going to win, and after seeing Cro Cop push him in the 1st round I thought I would be right, but in round 2 and 3 Cro Cop looked like an amutear, and thats to Kongs credit, but still.... I was getting pissed that Cro Cop put on another lackluster performance. But Couture is gonna have his hands full his Kong, I think Couture can beat him, but its not going to be easy, and I thought Hamil coming up to born in the USA was hillarous

i guess there is no point Cro Cop vs Fedor II. Speaking of Fedor, i was surprised there was no word about him at UFC 75. you would think they signed him by now. guess not. i heard UFC signed Mark Hunt but not sure how accurate that is. Fedor needs to enter the octagon. Fedor vs Couture would be an instant classic. regardless of who wins, which in my opinion could go either way. Couture's greco is much better than Lindlands and Couture has a much better ground game than Lindland. hopefully we see Fedor signed very soon.

If I recall correctly, Dana said he will shut down Pride unless they can get a television contract over in Japan. I highly doubt that will happen in time to keep Pride alive, so it looks like the UFC belt will be the "big thing" unless some new organization rises from Pride's ashes. Not much point in giving Quinton the Pride belt now.

Man guys, I am really sad about Crocop. He was my favorite fighter of current times, and I still haven't given up hope on him. However, it seems like he needs to either take a break or retire. I think it'd be better than letting his career just get burned in lackluster flames. Kongo was much improved, but honestly Crocop should have taken that.

Rampage has gotten much better as well. I mean seriously, he wasn't ever at this level in Pride. Unfortunately, Shogun will be in UFC soon and Rampage will lose his belt. Unless Shogun pulls a Crocop.

I don't know, Rampage has improve every aspect of his game, and keeps improving. If he keeps it up, than I thin he actually has a chance at beating Shogun.

it was unfortuanate. that should have been a huge victory for Hamill.

It is unfortunate that Cro Cop lost, again. Ive havent seen many fights with him but I was expecting to see great things of him in the UFC. It didnt happened. I was expecting more from the Rampage/Henderson fight, something explosive, it didnt happend either. Good thing it was a free event.

Another thing I forgot to mention was the lame crowd. I know I've said it before, but man it's so annoying how the crowd kept booing whenever Rampage and Henderson clinched or went to the ground. They're ****ing wrestlers for ****'s sake. What kind of fight was the UFC bunch expecting? There's more to combat than just trading punches. I actually heard someone yell "Get up!" when Henderson had Rampage in side control.

Also, did anyone else see Henderson throw a spinning back kick? I mean....Henderson throwing that move? 😱

They should match up Arlovski and Kongo next... Kongo would be destroyed by Couture IMO, the dude can't wrestle.

The Rampage/Henderson was maybe a great technical fight which i dont mind from time to time or maybe 1 or 2 out of 5 rounds but I wanted to see blood or a very fierce fight like the Houston Alexander fight.

I agree, I absolutely hate it when I see that happens. That just really seperates the MMA fans, from the drunks and people who claim to be MMA fans. I mean I like to enjoy a good standup war as much as the next person, but I also like watching the submissions, grappling, ect of the fights as well. It's called Mixed Martial Arts for a reason.
