I agree Forumcrew. People act like just because they got Steve Mcnair that they are now a complete football team....They forgot one thing, this isn't Steve Mcnair of 3-4 years ago, Derrick Mason is getting older, The Defense is getting older and isn't what it once was (although it is still very good.). I believe the Ravens will contend for the wildcard, but I'd be surprised to see them go very far this year. I am not being biased being a Bengals fan either. I am still a bit worried about them as well. Yeah I know we were a prime target for a let down game after the Steelers game, but that's no excuse to be totally dominated. We need to fix our run defense, or learn how to pass rush at least. Don't give the QB all day...The one thing that made me the most sick about it was when we let TOm Brady run for like 26 yards on 3rd down to get a very long first down conversion...ITS TOM BRADY! He isn't exactly fleet of foot. Football is such a double edged sword! Man it can get you ecstatic one minute and depressed and furious the next lol. Hey it kinda sounds like a woman!
Well TB started the year with a LT on IR and now the starting RT is officialy on the IR after season ending knee surgery. the starting RG will play very little if at all this weekend also. If you have some money you can afford to lose (cause you should never bet what you cant afford to lose) load up on the saints.
hmmm just heard a very interesting statistic. The raiders get 0 or negative yards on 22% of their offensive plays. Now that no suprise, the suprise who is second on this list.. the Bears at 18 some %. Seems like they have been able to benefit from the big play but struggle with consistancy more than basic stats show.
Randy Moss also wants out of Oak along with Porter. Now Moss is going about this a much better way because hes actualyl playing. I think NE needs to send Seattles 1st round pick and Chad Jackson over to Oak for Moss.. it gives the raiders a future, and it gives Brady a weapon to win with. I would then attempt to convince porter to stay as the #1 guy, if not send him toooo Pitt for something.
Randy Moss in NE... its inconceivable. All the raiders need is a QB which they should have right now if they were intelligent at all. They want RAIDER GUYS. Bullshit.. they should've taken matt leinart. They know it, they knew it once the first preseason game started.. guaranteed Leinart would've turned that team into something, just like he'll help turn the cardinals into something.. be it now or 2 or 3 years down the road, leinart is gonna be a bomb ass QB

I think they need to fix the O-line before worrying about the QB. Leinart would be killed with Oak's O-line. Personally, I would rather have Huff at this point as Leinart would just be another David Carr.
Where Oakland killed themselves was drafting Gallery over Big Ben. Gallery has been a bust.

The Titans drafted Steve McNair's heir. I can understand their decision. It's honestly too early to start assessing their choices. We won't know for a year or two. And Leinhart has better weapons around him so it's likely he'll look better for a while.
Yeah, you cant really say, but I just dont think Vince Young will ever be what people say he is.
He doesnt make any good decisions, he's arm is good but not great, and he scrambling ability is good but he doesnt have the type of quickness Vick has.
So pretty much Young is a bigger version of Vick. I do admit he will be tough to bring down in pocket.
I think he will be average because I dont think he has the intelligence to survive in the NFL.
Thats just my opinion.
Just wondering about Big Ben and Gallary? Was Big Ben touted to be in the top 3 draft picks or was he slated to be in the top 15?
If Big Ben was drafted by the Raiders, do people really think he would of been the same player he is now? Remember, he did come onto a good team.
