K, please, an QB who is accurate does not suddenly become inaccurate because of the WR's.An inaccurate QB who has top recievers does not suddenly become accurate.
And please read my ****ing post, I said, if you take away Wayne and Harrison, you have mediocre recievers left. Manning throws just as well to those recievers than he does with Wayne and Harrison.
Vick is inaccurate passer. People in this thread have also said this. I know Falcons WR drop alot of passes, but he still overthrows them alot. Nonbody who is there, and overthrown ball will not be caught, thus making Vick an inaccurate passer.
Vick can throw the ball far, but he is still inaccurate and if your say Lord that he has the best arm, do you mean both accuracy and strength, or just 1? If so combined, your seriously wrong.
I'm not saying Vick doesnt have the stats to say he is one of the best players in the league, cause I know he doesnt have the WR's to have those stats, but what I see when he plays, I dont think he is.
If he was one of the best in the league, his team should easily be better.
Whatever, you know I was trying to say that Manning with BAD receivers, wouldn't be where he is.

And I say thats complete shit that 2 recievers have made him the best player in the league and if he continues down the path, could be considered to be the one of the best QB's to ever play the game.
Everybody is talking about how those guys make unbelievable catches...but nonbody ever talks about how Manning throws the ball 40 yards away to the only spot that Harrison can catch the ball.
Countless times I've seen Harrison catch amazing balls, but the reason why he can do that is because Manning throws an incredible accurate pass that only Harrison can catch.
Vick can run, and throw the ball far. He cant read defenses and he's mentally retarded when he comes to basic football. When you have nonbody to throw too and dont have an open area to run at, throw the ball away...and not try to deke everybody out, get sacked and generally fumble the ball.
So it's his fault because he has 3 guys running at him and his first instincts are to use his 4.2 speed instead of getting sacked and losing yards? That makes absolutely no sense. Manning would do absolutely nothing on the Falcons. You going to fault Vick for not throwing accurate balls to receivers who aren't open and who run bad routes and can't catch?
I fault Vick for throwing balls over people heads and not throwing accurate.
You keep on saying his wide reciver core are bad, but they're not bluthering idiots.
Like I said before, the WR is crap, but it doesnt mean he cant be accurate. Accuracy is all based on the QB. If he cant throw accurate, he cant throw accurate. Drop balls are an different case, but he still cant hit them.
Manning would make the Falcons a better team. That's it.
When three guys are running towards him, he usually uses his speed, gets caught then loses yards. What he should do is realize he can throw the ball away.

I think Manning only has two weaknesses, and they are trouble for every QB...only the other QB's often have more than two weaknesses.
Those being:
1) Collapse of the pocket
2) Sometimes he is a bit predictable on his curl-route throws.
I would consider his two biggest strengths:
1) Slant, post, and skinny-post route throws
2) Selling screens

What I see here is 3 haters with the inability to comprehend a simple circumstance. Stop contradicting yourselves, how are you going to be accurate when your receiver isn't open? Start making some damn sense.

😆 😆
Again you are making no ****ing sense. Your points are far from valid and repetitive. The Falcons would be in the same position they are in if the had Manning just for the simple fact that he would have no one to throw to. Sure he would have Crumpler, but he would see constant double teams just like he is seeing right now. Going from your guys statements I doubt you see many Falcons games.
With statements like
"His receivers are shit, but he could be accurate"
One of the most contradictory statements I have ever read on these boards.
"He should be throwing accurate passes to receivers who aren't open"
I doubt any of you are thinking twice about what you are saying and can't come up with a valid argument without it being linked backed to receivers who can't run routes, can't catch and can't get open.
"He should take the sack or throw the ball away instead of using his speed and trying to gain yards and/or buy time for his receivers to get open."
Just blind.
so just to be clear no ATL WR has ever been open before correct? Finneran is terrible and could never have a good year correct? Jenkins and Roddy White have absolutely no talent and will never be good nfl players correct? Having a backfield that can handle a pass does not make a positive impact on a QB correct?
You could compare Atlanta's TE and WR corps with that of San Diego. No, really, you could. That being said, who can make the same argument given what Philip Rivers has done and will be capable of doing? Yes, the Bolts have LT, but Atlanta's rush offense is consistantly #1 so an argument pertaining to defenses ganging up to stop SD's run has no value. There's also no "hawk" in opposing defenses trying to keep track star Philip Rivers from sprinting 40 yards down the sidelines.

you could also mention a team called the patriots. Brady certainly did not have star WR's and look what he did. Look no one is saying Atl wouldnt be improved by getting a better WR. ANY TEAM would get better by adding a better player. However saying that does not give the current QB an excuse to suck. Your response to my questions made no sense I guess you are answering yes to all points. Yes I watch them play I have seen them play many times including seeing them in person.
I used to be a huge Vick fan but I have come to the realization over the last year or two that he just doesnt have all the tools to be a great QB. Especially after I saw him play in person last year. They were in a 3rd down situation where they were in FG range and what does he do? He runs around and takes a 15 yard sack taking them out of FG range. Now he didnt need to do this he could have thrown it away he had plenty of time. The problem is his football IQ isnt good enough to be aware of the situation and realize "hey if i throw it away we can still get 3 points." On another play he had one his WR's who according to you has never been open before standing in the corner of the endzone without a defender anywhere near them (i was sitting in the endzone) and he never looked at him once ended up trying to run it and got about 3 yards. Then later he had crumpler in the endzone wide open this time he at least threw to him however he pretty much spiked it at crumplers feet. It was really a sad day for me because it put the final nail in the coffin as far as me thinking he could make it.
And what do you mean we are resorting to the backfield now? Since when are guys in the backfield not valid options in the pass game. That is a massive part of your man crush reggie bush's game and guys like LT utilize the pass. Also to a QB that runs around it is very helpful having guys in the backfield that are good at catching passes as well as running the ball.
I really wonder if you even knew who ATL's WR's were. Seeing as you are blind to anyone not a superstar. Ever think its possible some of the WR's would develop better with a better QB and hes holding them back not the other way around?
How is the QB holding the receivers back when they clearly aren't good. You making it seem like they are decent, and they are far from that. Brady has a line, decent receivers who run good routes, get open and catch balls. You telling me a receiver was open on 1 play and that making you not like Vick anymore does NOT support your already weak argument. That is actually what I like to call BS.
"I was at this game, Vick got sacked, missed an open receiver, I don't like him anymore, he fails, he fails" WTF?
Your whole points are just bull shit. I watch Atlanta games frequently, and I am right, his receivers are just plain horrible. Do NOT try to tell me otherwise because I know what my eyes tell me and the numbers don't lie. You have nothing to support your argument. Like I said, put Vick on the Colts and they go to the Super Bowl every year. He doesn't have a receiver anywhere near the level of a Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison and he hasn't his whole career. That is why your argument fails.
Do me a favor? Take off your hate blinders and snap back to ****ing reality and use some common sense.
And why do you keep comparing him to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady? That definitely isn't making you look any smarter. Those are two pocket passers with enough talent around them to win multiple Super Bowls. You going to try to tell me that Vick is or should be a pocket passer?
as i said i dont have hate blinders. I was a big fan of Vicks and other than him possibly abusing dogs id wish him the best in his career. No 1 game didnt make me think he sucked. Its been the overall product of watching him over the past couple years. I simply said seeing him in person sort of cemented what I had been seeing repeatedly on tv. And I just dont think he has the tools to be a top QB am I not allowed to have that opinion? Just like your allowed to think Finneran with 50 catches makes him garbage. Your also quick to blame us for calling guys busts without giving them time. I guess only USC superstars deserve time to develop? Well that same year Finneran put up 50 catches and Crumpler had 65 Jenkins and White had 65 between them and 6 scores. in what was Whites rookie year and Jenkins first year of starting and only his second year in the league.
Now this was 2 years ago not last year. Last year they suffered from losing Finneran. However White still improved the big part of his game which is stretching the field, He averages a very nice 16.9 yards a catch and Jenkins stepped up as a reliable redzone target coming down with 7 scores. As young as these guys are and being on a team that has generally relied on running the ball I am just not ready to say they are both horrible.
Oh and next time you want to quote me then do it, but dont reword it how you want and throw quotations around it.
