Well, I was duped.

But in reality, they should of lost that game. Heck, the Cowboys can barely beat a team that loses its best pass rusher that game, starting RB, starting QB during the 4th quarter and starting DT when thier team didnt have injuries outside of Ferguson and Newman. Granted, losing Newman is huge and probalby would of made a difference with the coverage of Burress, but still horrible run defense, and horrible pass defense and only 1 sack. That's garbage.

Atleast Romo looked really good.

Great game. Had no idea the Giants could score like they did.. All in all today was a good day in football.

I just got obliterated in fantasy football thanks to Romo, TO, and Plaxico.

Look on the bright side, at least you're are not a Raiders fan.

Well, I guess so.

Did anybody catch the end of that game?

Oh man, it was funny as hell. Fox did this little fan spot for introduction of the aftershow and its ****ing hilarious.

" I'm the oblivator, so catch the OT after the game............................................yeah!!!!"

It was ****ing hilarious.

You guys hear about the guy who might be paralyzed from the neck down after a hit? One of my friends told me about it over the phone, I'll post a link when I find one.

Kevin Everett, yeah I saw the hit, it wasn't pretty. He hit the guy's helmet/shoulder pad, I really couldn't tell, then just went limp and hit the turf.

Story

Romo for MVP. That's right....not backing down on this.

And for the record, I've been on the bandwagon since he subbed in for Bledsoe. So if the knee-jerk reactors want to join me, they're welcome to, but I've already got a nice warm seat on the bus.

As I just said, those Giants were awful.

I like Romo. He's a good QB and a good playmaker. I'm just going to give him the season to show if the Cowboys dont need to draft an QB and he warrents an long term contract.

As an Cowboy fan, I've been burned by flash in the pan QB's.

But as of right now, he played extremely well and that INT was lucky.

After one game??? Can Romo do this each week?

Not everyweek.

Nonbody can do that.

Not every week, obviously. But he was responsible for 5 TDs. 5 x 16 = 80. He doesn't need to duplicate that performance every week. But if the Cowboys D gives up that many points to a reeling Giants team, Romo will have an opportunity to put up at least 2-3 every week. He has the weapons, and the running game is solid too so teams have to respect it.

He'll be getting MVP consideration by the end of the year.

JR Reed and Greg Lewis need to commit suicide quick. Especially Reed since he really had no f*ckin reason to dive for the ball like that he should have let it bounce. So what if we got that extra 5 yards? The way we were playing we weren't going to score in that last minute anyway.

On a brighter note, the Vikings win 24-3. w00t Adrian Peterson FTW. He's becoming my favorite player since I've been watching video's of him and been playing with him in Madden. For some reason I'm better with the Vikings than I am with every other team in the NFL.

The Giants season is apparently over after one week of football. Eli is out at least one month with a separated shoulder.

Hehe...that's ok. Most people agree with you. That's why it's a small bandwagon right now.

And I didn't say he'd get the MVP...just consideration. If he's among maybe 4-5 people getting talked about, I'll consider it a victory.

And don't get me wrong...I don't like the Cowboys at all. But I'm convinced Romo's the real deal, and is going to emerge as the best QB in the NFC in coming years.

....

As for MVP, it's honestly still LT's to lose. The Bears shut him down as much as anyone ever will, and he still contributed 2 TDs. Peyton's always in the conversation, but outside that, who's left? Palmer, McNabb, S. Jackson, Brady, Peterson ( 😉 ), Alexander. I'd defy anyone to claim that someone outside of that group (and Romo) will win the MVP....it's really a short list.

Go Bengals! Almost bungled it up lol But hey a win is a win...especially against a tough opponent like the ravens.

Horrible pass interference call, but the Ravens should have still been able to score there.

Cards are down to the Niners, but theres plenty of time left.

I always choose Manning as the prediction to win. He's that consistent. It seems to me that RB's are always what I consider, "flavour of the month". They have one amazing season like he did last year and then, something happens. Even though LT did get two TD's, he looked like shit. He didnt get anywhere.
