um they have dominated teams. Just because the jets and bills are bad doesnt mean that they cant be dominated. And the Chargers and Bengals, while they havnt played great this year are both teams who could win at any given time. I am far far far from a Pats fan but they are dominating and they are looking GREAT.
Yea, I would say they have been dominated as well. Where are all those Moss haters at? I know its still early and blah blah, but as of right now he is having just as good as season as TO, and I remember last year people were saying TO was waaay better, and Moss was past his prime. Now I'm not sayin Moss is better than TO but I am saying those bashers were wrong 🙂

Nah, they really weren't. The haters were mostly just down on Randy because he's always had the talent to be the best in the league, but he's selfish and whiny, and stopped playing hard for his former teams.
The criticism is entirely justified. I don't think anyone doubted that he could still play well, even though his stats are >> anyone would've predicted for any elite wide receiver.
I was reading an article stating that because of what he is doing now, he can be considering the number 1 WR of all time.
What I find funny about sports journalists is how easy 4 games can sway thier mind.
And Forumcrew, I wrote it down wrong, the Pats have dominated teams, but I want to see how they play against an winning team to see if they're that good. Winning by alot by blowing out crappy teams doesnt automatically make them dominated everybody. Same thing with Dallas.

All the so-called analyst said he was washed up, they said all that other stuff too, but they clearly stated that he didn't have the talent he once had. I'll give you the part where it was justified calling him out for his alleged lack of work ethic, but saying the man has no talent mostly because a quarterback spent more time on his ace than throwing the ball is a little ridiculous if you ask me.

Well then those people are stupid, so you're right about that. It should be obvious to anyone that he has as much raw talent as any receiver ever in the league (maybe the most ever). It was always just a case of surrounding talent and work ethic.

Seahawks got handled, Cardinals now lead the division, but have lost Leinart for 6-8 weeks I believe.
Bush gets a career high in carries and touches, 119 total yards. You will definitely see those numbers increase as the season progresses, he did a nice job "carrying the load" today. It's unfortunate that the Saints wideouts had a few key drops that could have won them the game. Devery Henderson had a big game, but his drop which lead to an interception was a real big one.
Good shit by Sean Payton this week, I'm glad he got Bush more involved in the offense, it definitely opened up the passing game, if you saw the game you would have noticed this, those drops and interceptions are the real reason why they are 0-4 instead of 1-3 right now. Had they won this game, I would have still said they had a shot to win their division, but now I think it's over for them unless they can go undefeated the rest of the way, and if you look at their schedule, that isn't happening.
It's alright for a back carrying the ball that many times for only the second time in his entire career. He started out pretty good, averaging 5.7 YPC on his first 10 carries at halftime. But then second half he kind of fell off on the rushing end, but his receptions went up. Overall he had a pretty good game, I wouldn't call it bad, but his numbers should increase as the season progresses just like it did last season.

Hopefully, your team will choose to study their disasterous loss from the Pittsburgh Steelers. I knew this post was going to be sitting here when I got to the computer this morning. *shakes head and repeats that this doesn't reflect all of SN*
Anyhoo, most of us saw the game, so, to quote every coach in the business, "it was what it was." A few notes, however.
1) Just question why Arians isn't letting Ben audible out running plays when the other team is putting 8 in the box (twice the Seahawks had 9 freakin' guys in the box and here we go, Parker up the middle for a 1-yard loss.)
2) With its 2 best starters out, Steeler's depth in defense is stellar. With its 2 starters out, Steleers depth at WR still subpar but Cedrick Wilson really stepped up yesterday.
3) Looked a bit like Hasselbeck looked nervous right out of the gate. When Miller caught the TD, I was thinking, "OK, the TD is nice, but with 2 minutes left in the 1st half, it's going to let Hasselbeck get into a groove." It did a little, even with the Ike INT, but they only ran 3 snaps in the second half until about 10 minutes left in the game.
4) Buildling off of #3, long drives are momentum killers, and the #1 argument against running a run-and-shoot and hurry-up offense as your game plan. Defenses rest and mistakes are kept to a minimum.
5) Ben played maybe his best game in 1-1/2 years. I don't need 80-yard bombs from the guy. I need third and longs converted.
6) What was with the Screen Porch shading? I was half-expecting Cleopatra-style feather fans. Holmgren needed some sunscreen, and just think if it was an away game at Miami ior Jacksonville in week 1 or 2!!!!
7) Good luck to the Seahawks and beat up on the Browns and Ratbirds for us, like you did the Bengals.
