your argument about almost losing to the jets is worse then losing to the dolphins is just well silly

the only thing I am going to comment on here is this part because no it is NOT silly because great teams like the patriots are going to turn it up a notch in the playoffs than a regular season game.Great teams like the patriots tend to have a let down against a weaker opponet like the dolphins during the regular season because they know they can play next week what a team does against another team during the regular season means nothing, its what they do in the playoffs that matters since more is at stake since its a win or go home situation.so its not silly at all. 🙄

Yeah, but the patriots will be the weaker team in this situation. Atleast statistically.

Well, I think we can all say, it wont be an offensive explosion.

Steelers got raped. Pittsburgh took a face full of patriot spunk. It all ended where it began for the Steelers. Once again Big ben did an outstanding job for the opposing team.

turns out it was.. they made too many mistakes and the pats punished them for it

Well, who would of thought.
And yes Big Ben did get spanked.

Ben pulled his own pants down and spanked his own ass, just like the last three games.

Yeah, but he's only a rookie. He'll be great. But one thing that i got sick of was everybody kissing his ass throughout the whole season, not thinking that his win streak was because of good defense and supporting players.

the bus fumbled again today too.. just too many mistake should be a great game in the superbowl the original 2 undefeated teams

Worst break for the Steelers IMO was the defensive holding call on Aaron Smith on 3rd and 17 when the Defense was about to get off the field. Pats responded with a TD and pretty much ended any chance of coming back.

The game was over after the pats scored ten in their first two possesions. This gave them unstoppable momentum.

The worst break was when Ben threw the first interception, and then the Bus fumbled afterwords.

The fumble didn't matter because they were short of the first down anyways on fourth down; I was just hoping the Pats wouldn't run it back for a score.

Maybe forumcrew is NOW ready to admit defeat that the Steelers are not in the same class as the patriots are and that the patriots are a great team but the steelers are just a good team.Face it,The Steelers with a rookie quarterback who made costly mistakes in both games, and as a team made more costly mistakes as well than the patriots did, just are not in the same class and they WONT be until they can beat them in the playoffs.what they do during the regular season does not define greatness, what they do during the postseason does and they did not do much.

Yeah statistically they will be weaker but that does not matter what matters is they played a better game and did not make the crucial mistakes the steelers did.Thats the difference between being a great team and being a good team. The patriots find ways to overcome their mistakes in the playoffs.Once the steelers faced a great team like the patriots instead of the jets, they could not overcome their mistakes and until they get to that point where they can, they wont be a great team like the patriots or in the same class as them.

The fumble did matter. It gave them field position. Instead of starting on 20 or lower, they started on the forty. Field position in most games make or break teams.

Huh?

Bettis' fumble didn't mean anything, smasandian...He was going for a first down on fourth down...He reached out because he was stopped short. The guy who recovered the fumble was tackled almost immeadiatly.

The Steelers were completely outcoached. They made a couple key errors that handed the Patriots this game on a platter. The Steelers won every statistical category except for the turnover battle and of course, the final score which is all that really matters.

Good season, good learning experience for Ben. I'm kinda glad he finally lost, that's something eveyone needs to learn, how to lose. I just wish it could have been sometime during the season instead 😕

Now, my number 7 jersey will be tucked away until next fall...

****ing pats are gonna win it again..

yea its likely but the eagles are pretty dominant... i dont like either so who to root for?

Yeah, your right. My mistake. But still, a fumble is a fumble. When a guy fumbles, it hurts moral and the crowd.

especially when he does it twice in 2 games and he hadnt fumbled in a ton of trys before that.. but oh well they did better then anyone would have thought at the start of the season.. did anyone expect to see tommy maddux on the second half?
