No, that would of just destroyed Ben. The game was the Pats all the way. And your right, they did go pretty far.

The Steelers were completely outcoached.

The problem was they game-planned for the Cleveland Browns and the New England Patriots showed up.

especially when he does it twice in 2 games and he hadnt fumbled in a ton of trys before that.. but oh well they did better then anyone would have thought at the start of the season.. did anyone expect to see tommy maddux on the second half?

A very close friend of mine was told yesterday morning by Chukky Okobi(the backup center,a good friend of his) that Ben was playing hurt since the Phili game. The coaches knew it. The medical staff knew it...

I was angered at this, how retarted do you have to be to make your future QB play hurt when all he does is really hand off the ball and throw 5-10 yard passes? Maddox could have stepped in for 2 weeks or so and let him heal up then, they would have been set.

Also, he was told that the Steelers had LITERALLY NO gameplan for the Pats. NOTHING. Cower I guess thought that he could just go out and stick his jaw out far enough and they refs would keep giving us 6 points.

well the steelers said that his arm was extremely tired and there was the thumb... but i believe he had a gameplan theres no way he didnt

Yay, my predictions were right. Woo-Hoo.

When the Steelers had 1st and goal from about the 5yrd line they should have just pounded it in. Instead they threw the lob for Burress and kicked the FG. If they got a TD from that situation it was a 1 score game with a whole quarter left. FG meant 2 score game before the drive and a two score game after the drive. That was where the Steelers lost it IMO. Brady no turneovers, Ben 2 turnovers from which NE got 10 points.

The commentaters in UK told us that no QB has ever rushed for more than 50 yrds against a defence run by the Philly Def. Co-ordinator. The Eagles secondary gave nothing and Vick got caught out trying to make plays when he should've thrown it away. Westbrook got 130ish from scrimmage but the offensive line were amazing.

So, the big one.......

Me say NE. Just because they always seem to have the right plan.

Methinks the Pats will not be as good next year without Charlie and Romeo.......

Yeah, I dont think Cowher went into the AFC Championship unprepared. I think the problem was that the team went into a game against the Patriots, who is the best team in league.

I also think that the Pats will not be as a good, but they do have the same teams next year. But will some of the older players be as a effective.

Terrell Owens' doctor said that he wouldn't clear him to play for the SUper Bowl, but Owens will try to play anyways. Grant Hill, anyone?

he said he hasnt cleared him yet.. he still could he has 11 days... but did you see him on sunday? he was jumping up and down on the bench chearing seemed to be able to move his ankle ok

It's the planting of the foot that screws up if the ankle is weak. Jumping involves more of the leg muscles, but when you need to plant the foot to deke out a CB or something, you have to put tremandous pressure on the ankle.

yea and if he gets hit hard and reinjures himself before it heals properly could end his career.. thats a pretty big risk

True, but I think a Superbowl is worth the risk. He isnt a youngin anymore. And if he does play, I think Harrison will screw him up.

I've tried to avoid the media this week (but not next) to stay away from the Owens Hype.

anyone think the eagles are crazy for not picking up shannon sharpe? they instead got a guy they cut a few years ago who has been doing construction work.. (for the injured chad lewis) shannon sharpe is available and said he would play.. i mean im sure they arnt gonna throw it to the new guy and just use him to block but even though sharpe hasnt played in a while i think he could perform well he has the record for consecutive playoff wins and he was a hell of a great tight end

I think TO will play... i just have a feeling he will, i dont no why... GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe that feeling is connected to him saying hes planning on playing?

yeah^^^... but before that.. when he first got injured... i had a feeling he would play in the Superbowl if we got there....

So Emmitt Smith has retired. I wonder if anybody will break the record, or who will beat it?

For Superbowl. I give the Eagles over the Pats.
Reasons, well, Im going for the underdog. Eagles do have a good team also, so im choosing the Eagles.

I think it'll be close, but I think New England might go 3 for 3 this decade in Vinatierri field goals as time winds down.

Yeah true, it will be close. Some people have giving the Eagles no chance at all. They probably wont win, but they do have very good player to win it. If McNabb is hot, I can see them pulling off a upset.

^^^ yeah, and i think TO is giving them a lot of inspiration by playing the game.

i was watching PTI on ESPN and they were asked "What would be the better story, an Eagles win, or a Patriots win." One guy said the Eagles and another guy said the Patriots. I think the best story would be TO catching the game winning touchdown for the Eagles.

GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!
