Great.....that would be a perfect move. Get Johnson so we can now have Johnson and TO......super move. They would both get along..... and have such a great relationship.
But lets not worry about the lack of CB depth, or not having a second back to open things up in the offense....

Pacman is young and proven. He's better than anyone in the current draft class. Pacman isn't really a cancer(and the reason why people use this term so loosely beats the hell out of me).
Why does it seem you're not in favor of your team getting better? You didn't want Moss. You don't want Chad Johnson. You don't like the idea of Dallas getting Pacman(it's going to happen). You don't think trading up to get McFadden would be a good idea.
These two first round draft picks aren't going to make an immediate impact. If they hold onto them, then they're likely to draft CB/WR or CB/HB. And last time I checked, Chad Johnson, Pacman Jones and Darren McFadden are exactly that. They're just more likely to make an immediate impact.

For sure, especially since he is a huge upgrade in our passing game from our current TE's. Now we just need to make sure are running game is back to form. Our defense is still going to suck though unfortunately....I'd personally like to see them do DT in the first two rounds....whether that means dorsey or ellis dropping to us at nine( dorsey is more unlikely to fall to 9, but you never know what teams think of hs injury status...which does scare me.), or us trading down in the first and picking one there. plus we might be able to pick up another 3rd or 4th rounder depending on where we move to...
Could also go RB at #1 which wouldn't be the worst thing, but I prefer defense. If we do go RB I hope it is Mendenhall. Another possibility would be after seattle dumps shaun alexander (which most likely will happen after June 1st) , signing him to a incentive laden contract and seeing if he has a year or two left in the tank.

My team is already one of the best in the league and adding Johnson, and Jones will make it marginal better than it was. Johnson and TO will not work together what so ever. If Johnson acts like a ***** with TJ whatever his last name is, how is he going to act when he plays with TO, Crayton, Witten and Terry Glenn? He will complain the third game in and all that cap space that he will take up with of gone to waste. Vice versa with TO. TO will start acting up also. It would go horribly wrong.
Pacman might be different but I dont want him on my team. I dont care if he is good or not. He hasnt played in the NFL for a year and has been suspended. I dont want him on my team. If he is, well whatever, not a big deal but I rather have a young CB than Pacman anyday.
McFadden, personally I never said I dont want him on my team. I just said it would be a mistake to send 2 first rounders and Barber for him when there is good depth at the RB position.
How can you say that two first rounders wont make a impact when you have no idea who they get.?
With the first picks they have, they can get a good young CB they can nurture and start in a couple of years, a good young WR that can learn from one of the best in the league and a strong RB like Felix Jones, or Ray Rice who can provide a nice backup option to Barber. All that for half the price of what Chad Johnson, Darren McFadden and Pacman Jones will cost you.
Sounds like the team is better in the long run than better this year. (Especially considering a team has never really won a Superbowl with a great passing attack). Doesnt anybody remember what happened to the Cowboys in the 90's after they won the Superbowls? Thats right, shit because they were so backed up in cap space and had overpriced veterens.
cowboys need barber 100 times more than they need chad right now. Do you know how many teams have done well with all average to good WR's? A lot. Patriots won some superbowls without start WR's Seattle has won their division 5 years in a row and gotten to a superbowl with Jackson and Branch being their top of the line WR's, bears got to a superbowl with berrian and muhammed Giants did it with Plax and then toomer? tyree?. I think dallas can manage with T.O.
