The only thing this is gonna start to do though is make young RB's demand huge contracts before they prove themselves. If AP has a sophmore year similar to his rookie campaign he needs to hold out for a HUGE contract that he can cash in on for multiple years instead of getting it when hes on the cusp of turning 30 getting paid for a year or 2 and getting cut.

Well, he'll get an extension, which will be huge.

Personally, a great RB is a great thing to have but you definitely dont need him. It's all based on how good the line is.

Has anyone heard whether or not Tom Brady's or Giselle Bundchen's house has been burglarized?

Oh shit!!!

Maybe Mike Martz were looking for those incriminating tapes.

Or could be Mangina, trying to be relevant again.

But my sure bet is that Eli Manning broke in looking for Giseles panties...and who knows what he is going to do with them.

LOL. Is that a real story?

I ****ing hope not.

If thats a story, it must be slow ****ing news day.

****, where was the reporters when those bastards broke into my apt and stole my shit.

The Giants signed David Carr. I don't know if that a good move or a bad one. He may get a free ring if the Giants win another superbowl.

Giants are not going to win another Superbowl.

DeAngelo Hall traded to the Raiders. Good pick up for them. If they get a defensive linemen in the draft their defense is going to be scary good next season.

he is expected to sign for a little less than Samuel did in Philly. Which is funny because hes wayyyyyyyyy better.

You think Hall is better?

I dont really think so.

yea I do, I think Samuel is over rated a bit and was a product of the system.

I guess we will see.

I just never really heard anything that great about Hall outside he is really fast.

Panthers signed DJ Hackett.... if this guy can learn to stay healthy this will be a steal of a deal. I am telling you Hackett has the potential to be a damn good player in this league I am not happy about losing him even with the injury issues.

Why did they not resign him?

Anyone know if Junior Seau signed back with the Patriots?
Or any other old people for that matter?

The Raider deal to get De. Hall makes no sense. While the Raiders improve their secondary they still have no offense and with 300 plus pound JaMarcus, the Raiders look to have another top ten draft choice next season

Well having a great defense could easily overcome any shortcomings of the offense.

Will it be enough, probably not but they did get Walker, have a good RB core and if they can get some protection for Russell, it can be a decent team.

But in my opinion, secondary is one area nowadays that need to solid for your team to win.

Raiders finally signed De. Hall 7yrs. $70 million. How if the Raiders can find an offense then they'll go places.

yesterday the deal made no sense now they are on the path to going places?

I dont understand either.

If you have the cap space to get an CB like Hall, then you should do it. It makes sense. You need corners in this league.

Though 70 million for 7 years for Hall...not too sure about that.

Hopefully this doesnt affect Terrance Newman's contract extension.

Actually, just checked but Newman is still signed to 2009. Only 33mil for 7 years. Not bad. Just hopefully, his renewal doesn't break the bank.
