He had a greta game.

All the morning games were good. Next up more games

I dont know....those Cowboys are looking really good.

Did anybody see the Jets-Dolphins game? Its strange to think but sometimes stats dont really show anything but in no way Favre had that great of game compared to what FOX were alluding too.

The second TD would of been intercepted by any team outside of KC, or the Dolphins.

Desean Jackson looked real good for the Eagles. He's a great play-maker and returner too, which was a huge weakness last year. Can't wait for Eagles-Cowboys. But is Barber alright? As much as I hate the Cowboys, I need him healthy on my fantasy team.

The ending to the Panthers game was crazy.

I think its ribs. He'll probably play but not all game, or share alot of carries with Jones, which probably wouldn't be a bad thing with that line.

One knock against Barber is that he has no speed to get away. You'll rarely see him take one long run to the endzone while Jones could possibly do it once a game.

Typical Colts game though.

Seems Mr Brady is gone...

There goes my fantasy season.

Wait you mean matt cassel the second coming of jesus? He did come from usc you know.

Unfortunately, he isn't on my fantasy team.

he was actually drafted? damn figured you could scoop him up off the WW. Rumor is chris simms is flying in for a workout. How about getting daunte out of retirement? back with moss?

My mistake, I did just pick him up. I couldn't find him so I assumed someone already did.

Brady out for the season? Ouch...

As soon as the Cards give Leinart back his job, we'll have 3 starting QB's in the NFL that were all on the same USC team.

I was looking at ESPN The Magazine last week, and they had Mario on the cover with the quote (paraphrasing): "The Texans as a playoff team? That's our pick"

By saying that's their pick, I didn't realize one of the criteria was playing like your coaching staff watched 0.00 hours of tape.

The Cowboys are the best team in the league. That is pretty clear right now. I don't see any defense being able to stop that offense and their defense is much improved with Adam Jones. They looked good today and will only get better when Newman returns.

The Eagles looked really good. How did DeSean jackson go in the second round again? McNabb looks like his former self, though he usually looks good against bad teams, and the Rams are awful. I think I'll have to see a bit more of them before I place them among the Super Bowl contenders. I don't think they'll be able to beat Dallas, but they are definitely one of the better teams in the NFC.

The Saints are back! And they play defense now.

With the Panthers taking down the Chargers and the Bears taking down the Colts, not to mention the Pats losing Brady for the year, I think the balance of power has shifted from the AFC to the NFC.

As far as this power balance thing, I think it's probably even. But now in this era, I think any advantage is more coincidental rather than a direct result of anything. I mean, teams are teams are teams are teams. No team's going to say, "Hey, we're in the NFC, which means we draft RB's in early rounds and throw screen passes on 3rd and longs, etc...."

It was kinda of strange seeing all the playoffs picks lose.

The Pats lost... (I know I konw, but they did in reality)
The Chargers lost
The Colts lost
The Jaguars lost
Seattle lost

The only teams that won were the Boys, Steelers, the Saints (even though they are not a pick that most critics made. Wont be surprising next week when most of those teams win. In reality, the first game of the week is usually useless in the grand scheme of things.

can we talk about what is most important here and that is matt millan's life being in danger. Seriously how long before a disgruntled fan takes a shot at him, it is crime central USA.

The Jags were almost the most surprising just because they dont have as many excuses.

I watched that game last night on Shortcuts and man, it looked like Detroit quit all the way up to 21-0. It takes talent to be able to quit at the opening kickoff. And what was with only using Mike Furrey on punt and kick returns? The dude caught damn near 100 balls a few years ago. Is MacDonald really the slot receiver they want?
