I watched that game last night on Shortcuts and man, it looked like Detroit quit all the way up to 21-0. It takes talent to be able to quit at the opening kickoff. And what was with only using Mike Furrey on punt and kick returns? The dude caught damn near 100 balls a few years ago. Is MacDonald really the slot receiver they want?

Everyone who ever touches Detroit is a douchebag. Furrey can't play on the offense regularly because Millen wasted another pick on a WR and the coach doesn't know how run an offense without Martz. Without Johnson, Furrey would start and Detroit might actually have addressed a need.

Tonights games hopefully will be entertaining and good.

can we talk about what is most important here and that is matt millan's life being in danger. Seriously how long before a disgruntled fan takes a shot at him, it is crime central USA.

Tuesday Morning QB had a good comment on the Lions.

Look at the owner, the Ford family. They've been promoting their pickups and SUV's for years and with gas going up they didnt try to start marketing a fuel efficient car, but kept on going on the same course for years.

Look at Matt Millan. Worst GM in any sport. Again, they keep him there for years, no matter how bad he is. They are loyal to him for no reason.

The comparison is pretty good.

I do admit though that Calvin Johnson could be amazing for years to come, but they havnt done anything well when it comes down to free agency, or later draft picks.

you gotta be shitting me... Burelson out for the season. Time for the Seneca Wallace show. He is absolutely the best WR left on the team Holmgren has to put him out there full time. All we got left is Courtney Taylor, Jordan Kent, and Logan Payne

Who, who and who?

Isnt Branch coming back next week?

But that's shitty for you. Good thing your division is pretty shitty.

Branch is still pretty unknown, he hasnt practiced once and he wasnt supposed to play until late in the season at the soonest. he is apparantly way ahead of schedule but its very unknown. burelson and obomanu are out the season. Engram is looking at week 5-6 return.

Taylor is in his 2nd year out of Auburn, Kent is a 2nd year 6th rounder out of oregon who spent last year on practice squad.Payne was signed as an undrafted fa last year and was on the practice squad all season. I actually like Payne the most of the 3.

Hey, at least you have Julius Jones to rely on. 😉

I say give hasselbeck the year off and tell seneca wallace to pretend hes vick, minus the dogs.

blah blah Calvin Johnson blah blah

Did you see those two amazing CRITICAL catches that DJ made yesterday? He's going to be something special.

the dropped INT that he grabbed? Jarret wont see the field much once smith is back. That is until the good DJ (Hackett) hurts himself again. But I doubt moose has much left either.

Damn hell of a catch by Jennings.

Followed by worst pass ever to donald lee

Tavaris Jackson for MVP! face-plain

Seriously, if he was just decent, the Vikings could be a real good team. Also, Brad Childress needs to learn that Peterson is a great open field runner, so he needs the run to the OUTSIDE more. They use him more like Reggie Bush, and not a Full Back.

All a team has to do to beat the Vikings is get the lead in the 4th Quarter. I don't see T-Jack leading many comebacks.

to his credit his receivers screwed up multiple times in that game. And they absolutely have to get AD the ball more. not just on outside runs but on screens, dump offs, whatever. get it in his hands he was in blocking a lot.

Back to thing about Branch coming back they said he will need at least 2 weeks of practice before being ready to play in a game and he isnt healthy enough to practice yet. We have bye in week 4 so hopefully Branch and Engram can return together in week 5.

Tonight's games....Green Bay was ok. Not sold on Jackson.

The Raiders still the same old sorry ass team

The Raiders look like they could be bad enough to make the Dolphins or the Chiefs look good. They are just getting straight abused.

Well at least they have the best Madden team.

I swear that team was built with Madden in mind. Go figure.

Watched a few more Short Cuts this morning.

Cowboys/Browns - Sooo, does RAC want to confess that he was the mastermind behind the 3-man pass rush!!!????? I know the offense will get better, but like I was saying a few weeks ago, this defense got even swiss cheesier than before. And they're only going to get worse. I saw Rogers, a freakin' NT, get pushed backwards 4 yards on back-to-back plays! Eric Wright and Wimbley are the only defensive playmakers they have. That's 2 playmakers out of 11. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers rush for 250 on this team Sunday night. And every other team rush for 250 against the Browns as well, for that matter.

Jags/Titans - Only watched the first 20 minutes of game time b/c I had to go to work, but both QB's looked abysmal from what I saw. Garrard missed a wide-open guy in the end zone, and the only good play he made was eluding a massive pass rush and turn a potential 10-yard loss into a 10-yard gain...and it was wiped out by a holding call. VY looks phenomenal...as in Akili Smith phenomenal. I used to get excited whenever the Bengals would announce that Smith was starting. I hope VY is still the starter when the Steelers play them in December. On a bright note, the Titans pass rush looked ferocious, as did Chris Johnson.

It will be interesting to see if Collins does better than Young in the next few weeks.

The only bright spot on the Browns roster last weekend was Anderson. He played pretty well and they would of scored again if Edwards didnt drop a hundred passes. Also Winslow looked good but somehow mysteriously disappeared in the next three quarters. I guess Dallas played him very well.

Cutler is definitely showing that he was the best of that draft class with Leinart and Young.

How's Jones doing with you're team Smas? Porter f*cked me, which is great.
