They got robbed because Hoca ****** blew the whistle when he shouldn't have. Not to mention that Chambers was down on that play, but the replay equipment 'malfunctioned' and they didn't get to review the play. That is 2 TD's that the Broncos shouldn't have had.

The replay equipment didnt matter the play was not reviewable.

Some damn good games today. That was a controversial call though. All well, there not gonna replay the game

That was one of the most boring national televised games ever. (pit vs cle)

Pats 2-0

Aaron Rodgers and Jason Cambell looked impressive

McFadden also

STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are you talking about? The play was definitely reviewable. They tried but the equipment malfunctioned.

a simultaneous catch going to the ground is not reviewable nothing would have been changed. Granted a simultaneous catch should go to the receiver, but either way sens the ball didnt hit the ground it was a simultaneous catch it is not reviewable. (Chris Collinsworths words not mine)

Did you miss the part where I said "they tried to review it but the equipment malfunctioned?"

Meaning the play would have been reviewed if the replay equipment worked.

I don't know what Collinsworth said, but if he said the play was not reviewable then he is dead wrong.

They can throw a flag and go to look and once they get a clear look at it they can stop and say we cant change anything because it is not reviewable, its happened before. He was right. Nothing was getting overturned on that play.

To say that that play wasn't reviewable is just plain ignorant. I'm starting to doubt that Collinsworth said something so foolish. I remember him talking about the fumble play at the end of the game though. Find me a single source that says that play couldn't be challenged.

No the play could no be reviewed. The Ref blew the whistle for an incomplete pass, thus making the play dead. The only thing that could possible be reviewed is whether it was an incomplete pass, or a catch, and clearly there was no catch.

Don't you watch ESPN? Even the Ref said, "We blew the call, it was a fumble but by rule there was nothing we could do."

But you are right about the equipment malfunctioning, just the wrong play. They said early in the game when the Chargers fumbled they couldn't review that play because it wasn't working.

Sadly, the fumble towards the end of the game couldn't be reviewed because of the stupidity of the ref blowing the whistle before the play was over. If he actually knew anything, he would have known that either it was a fumble or a backwards pass, both of which would have still made the play live.

The catch and strip, however, was reviewable, but it couldn't be because of faulty equipment. What they should have done is stop the damn game and find some equipment that worked.

I gave you the source go rewatch the entire sunday night football broadcast or go look up the NFL rule book for yourself if you wanna act like a 4 year old over it. The bottom line is according to the rules ( I am assuming collinsworth and the producers who put him on the air knows the rule) as soon as the ref would have looked at the replay that he would of said the play can not be over turned because it was a simultaneous catch and that type of play is not reviewable. It really is that simple.

I am not trying to argue with you about it because there simply is no argument, this isnt my opinion.

Was the game called terribly? Yes there was an awful holding call in the game as well no one is going to argue that the refs didnt screw up terribly. However in this case there was no fixing that blown call by replay even if they had the greatest equipment in the world because the rules dont allow for it.

If you dont want to believe it then fine but I am going to believe the football analysts on the football show and trust they did their homework before they talked about it live over you.

Oh and PS the game wasnt decided on the blown fumble. The chargers still allowed the TD and the 2 PT conversion. Yea they got screwed but at least the refs didnt screw up the play that gave the broncos the lead, the Chargers still had a chance some teams get the chance taken completely away by the refs.

I've read sources where it says it wasn't reviewable because it was a double-catch, and those aren't reviewable. I disagree. If it were a double-catch, by rule, possession goes to the receiver. It didn't in this case. It went to the defender. That means it had to be an interception, which IS reviewable.

I know the game wasn't decided on the blown fumble. However, there's only so much any team can do when the refs give one team multiple chances to succeed. The fact is the Broncos screwed up on that play, yet they were bailed out by the refs and given another chance to get into the end zone.

it doesnt have to be an interception it was a catch and a strip. Possession can go to the WR (by rule) and then stripped by the DB.

Tonight's game should be a good one. Wonder if Jessica will be there..
