No the play could no be reviewed. The Ref blew the whistle for an incomplete pass, thus making the play dead. The only thing that could possible be reviewed is whether it was an incomplete pass, or a catch, and clearly there was no catch.

Don't you watch ESPN? Even the Ref said, "We blew the call, it was a fumble but by rule there was nothing we could do."

But you are right about the equipment malfunctioning, just the wrong play. They said early in the game when the Chargers fumbled they couldn't review that play because it wasn't working.

I'm not even talking about that play. That play was reviewable, they actually reviewed the play, it was initially called an incomplete pass, but it was changed to a fumble by review.

The play where Bailey ripped Chambers was so obviously reviewable that it's getting to point where I just want to shake Forumcrew for just trying to play devils advocate. Forumcrew, your reasoning makes absolutely no sense, and you have yet to provide a single source to back up your claim. I'm not even going to continue to argue this nonsense. I'm not even sure you believe what you are saying.

Seattle. Just wow. I feel for you Forum.

So then the strip would have been reviewable.

Can you read? Again its not MY reasoning. I am simple relaying what was said by Collinsworth on the NBC Sunday Night Football broadcast. Not saying its the word of god or that it is absolute fact, but its the most concrete thing that has come out about it so far, and I am simply relaying what was said about it. And again I gave you the source. Go watch the broadcast again if you cant oh well doesnt really matter to me.

And as for the "fumble" that play was reviewed and ruled a fumble. However Denver kept the ball because it was blown dead so no change of posession but they did lose about 6 yards.

Yea now without our number 1,2,3,4,6 WR's #1 RB, #2 QB (who was going to start at WR) and RG. Not to mention hasselbeck isnt exactly a beacon of health. I think Tonya Harding is somehow to blame.

SWEET! Logan Payne (he became one of our starters after the injuries now out for season and Seneca out a month.

PS this monday night game is awesome and desean jackson is a moron.

Yep.

Good game tonight.

Very good. Back and forth.

I REALLY hated that playcall of 4th and 17. face-plain
But the game was fantastic though. Cowboys better be scared. 😛

Wow.

I cant believe the Cowboys won. How do you when you give up 14 points of TO's in 14 seconds and have a bajillion facemasking penalties.

I'll say one thing though, we had a discussion awhile back about Steve Smith and Demarcus Ware. Thats why you have a guy like Ware. The most important play in the game and he comes up with a key sack. It was a little drawn out but if it was Bobby Carpenter, he doesnt make it.

And really, what the **** is up with people in the NFL and push from behind penalties?

That fumble was inexcusable from Westbrook/McNabb, but I guess it made up for Romo's sorta. Can't wait until these teams meet again, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's Eagles-Cowboys in the NFC Championship.

Of course, the Cowboys always lose their first playoff game, though. 😛
TO was a little quiet the 2nd half ever since they put Lito on him, which is kind of funny because that it want TO wanted.

And when these teams meet again, Curtis could be back. Jesus the way they are playing it seems like all Curtis could do is hurt them haha. Did Roy Williams come back what the case with him?

Yeah, but it does make up for the gaff Romo did. What the ****.

I wont be surprised if the next game is a bummer considering its the last game of the season and clearly both teams will win enough games to have the whole rest the starters thing.

Yeah, TO did have a quiet game in the second half but I really thats the gameplay afterwords. The Eagles started to play a bit more conservative and Dallas wanted to run. In the end though, TO did have near 100 yards (more if that holding wasnt there) and 2 TD's.

I dont think the WR's wouldnt of made a difference. Maybe a few plays but by that time, Newman will be completely healthy and blah blah blah.

Dont know what happened with Williams.

Yeah both teams should be in the playoffs by a lot of games, but the division will still be up for grabs probably.

Cowboys have other options so even if you can take out TO, they still have Witten and Barber so they probably is the gameplan. Make the defense adjust to TO and then throw to everybody else. I hate Witten with a passion though because when I play people in Madden, it seems like EVERYBODY uses the Cowboys and he catches litterally EVERYTHING in that game. 😛

You don't hate Witten for real life also?

People talk all they want about Gates and Winslow, but I still think Witten is the best TE in football. Always reliable and is much better at blocking. And he seems never to go down....its strange.

1. Gonzales
2. Witten
3. Gates

Well the hate from Madden has carried over. 😛 Naturally I hate most Cowboys though out of pure rivalry.

That was one of the most boring national televised games ever. (pit vs cle)

No doubt, especially from a neutral standpoint. I had a blast, though, because I watched it with about 18 Steeler fans and 2 Browns fans.

That morning I was watching the weather channel and I was like, "Here we go again." 60 mph winds and horizontal rain, etc... If you remember last year, 3 of the Steelers' prime time games were in typhoon conditions - vs. Baltimore (torential downpour), vs. Miami (0-0 mud bowl until 20 seconds left), and vs. Cincinnati (not too bad with only super-heavy storms).

I thought of the mud game but that at least had mild entertainment value. Like the punt that landed and stuck half a foot into the ground without moving.
