I guess. But I wouldn't call him the SB champ because he rode the bench.

I would say two national championships, Heisman trophy winner and a guy on a the SB team.

In fact you can say they won the superbowl in spite of him. Him being ineffective opened the door for Warner to take the job back this year and lead them there.

Granted (regardless of this little run) i have no faith in them to beat Pitt at all. The Ravens I would have given them a tiny chance because their secondary is so injured but thats it.

Who cares why they would win it, he would have all kinds of hardware that not too many people can claim they have.

i got the cards in a major upset

whod of thought that out of the palmer, leinart, cassel regime cassel would be the one having success right now.

Cassel is not the one in the Super Bowl.

Leinart is the first of the regime to go to a Super Bowl.

I should've bet on both games. sleepy

Um Cassel is the more valuable player in the league right now was the point. And doesnt he have a ring or was he a year too late?

Pats last won the 2004 season Super Bowl. Cassel was drafted just after that.

Also, brb, Cardinals bandwagon.

Successful does not equal SB win.

If that was the case, Kevin Faulk was more successful over Barry Sanders and LT.

Hey, Bubby Brister owns two rings with Denver. That's one more than Peyton Manning has.

Even Jared Lorenzen has the same amount as Payton Manning.

Put him in the Hall Of Fame and take out Manning.

Mike Woicik has 6 rings. Thats right Woicik a strength and conditioning coach has more rings than anyone. Guess hes the best football man in the world.

He must be pretty good at what he does.

But you're right, comparing Matt Leinart to Matt Cassel is like comparing Kevin Faulk to Barry Sanders. 😕

Left field.

I'm a Cards fan and always have been, but then again I'm a born-and-bred 'Zoner. I despise bandwagoners, you're supposed to stick with your team through thick and thin, not cheer for who ever's doing good at the moment.

------

I made this my avatar and sig the night before the Cards' opening regular season game at the beginning of the season last year. I guess I'm good luck.

I do stick with my team through thick and thin. I am a die hard Chargers fan, and have been all my life. I was cheering for them during the 1-15 and one season.

However, my team is out of the playoffs. Can I not choose another team to root for?

It would be more accurate to say comparing Matt Leinart to Matt Cassell is like comparing Jesse Palmer to Sage Rosenfelds.

Going -7 or +7? Im also a bit surprised you said coworkers and classmates... wow.

Since the superbowl is almost here just had to come here and say this. That heres even more evidence that the kansas city chiefs really need to change their name to the kansas city clowns.they set in NFL record for the least sacks in a 16 game season this year. 😆 😆 😂 😆
yep their the Clowns.Thats what you get when you have Herm the worm as your coach. 😆

Also as proven AGAIN this year, that was all the chargers needed to do to start winning playoff games when they got to the playoffs was get rid of Marty and get a new head coach. The smart NFL fan always knew better not to bet on the Chargers to win a playoff game with Marty as the coach.Marty Shittenheimer was famous for being one and done in the playoffs once he got there.Martyball works during the regular season but it doesnt work in the playoffs.

He always panicked once he got there. And something I have noticed that the Chargers havent done in the playoffs since Norv took over also is that they havent committed any stupid personal foul penaltys that turned out to be costly to them like Martys Chargers always did.Thats a reflection of the head coach and thats why the chargers dont do that anymore now with Marty gone.

Must be that time of year for Marty's biggest fan to emerge.

And BTW, it was decided here that "Kansas City Clowns" doesn't make the least bit of sense. Cleveland, if anything, owns more right to be called the "Clowns" by virtue of a rhyming nickname as well as their performance on the field, which has been as bad if not worse than Kansas City's.
