Denver was so incredibly stupid to trade that pick. That wasn't even a can't miss prospect. They could have used that pick next season to draft a QB or further build their defense with 1st round talent. Not a second round corner back.

They messed up by taking Moreno and they missed up by trading their pick for that corner when they could have upgraded their linebacker corps or their defensive line.

Yea next year should Seattle need a QB they will have 2 1st round picks to finagle with.

Cancel that LB note though. They removed the franchise tag from Hill (which I did not know you could do) He can now sign with any team he wants and I am sure someone will pay him some money the kid is a beast. Now I dont like the curry pick as much because we are simply going to let a guy (who has been good) go and replace him rather than fix a weaker spot.

Even with Hill, I still didn't think you guys had the best LB.

I would even say that Dallas has better LB's, but that could be the fan in me.

It was strange seeing the Cowboys not have one single pick this day. We have 11 picks tomorrow. That's ****ing strange.

its a bit different in a 3-4 because your sort of counting a guy who does what a pass rush DE does in a 4-3. So I would have to count Kerney in with the LB's and as good as ware is I take Tatupu, hill, curry, kerney over ware, brooking, ellis, and, james.

Packers actually I might give the credit of best LB's out there especially with their youth.

Hey, I just ran a 4.10 forty, do you think the Raiders will draft me? 🙄 Talk about a f-ing reach with Heyward-Bey.

Ok.

I guess with the Cowboys all LB picks (except for one), your going to see the first 3-6-2 defense.

Jeses, we have like Ware, Brooking, James, Carpenter, Spencer, Ellis, 3 draftee's.....jesus. I think there is more also from last years draft.

i like the 3-6-2 might want to go 2-6-3 though and have 2 DT's 6 LB's 2 CBs' and 1 deep safety. They could revolutionize defense!

Maybe, it could work.

Jesus. We then get a QB, a ton of CB's, and a kicker!!!!!

I understand the QB, and CB, but kicker? What the ****.

Well, they could do a 2-5 with two combo de/olb that could drop down on the line and have it become a 4-3.

you need BIG DT's to run a D like that.

Hines Ward better watch out.

He now has 2 Trojans in the middle looking to take his head off.

Personally I'm hoping it's Rey that cracks him. Something tells me the hit would have a lot more force behind it.

Oh, you mean 1 Trojan. Polamalu in practice.

But yeah, Ward is definitely worried. Just like the 10 divisional games before that where a Bengals/Ravens player (including Ray-Ray, the man who can only fight with a knife) said they were going to punish Ward. Ooh, scary! And it happened...not.
And don't forget the Bart Snot bounty threat last year. That did a lot of good. They took out Mendenhall, but for the 100th time in a row, their heads were swiveling so hard they didn't have time to try to hit Hines. Hopefully this new pussy rule (about a defender not being able to be breathed on by a 195 lb. wide receiver) will help the Ravens defense.

That kicker out-benched USC stud Clay Matthews, Jr.

Also, noticed that the 3 Pac-10 powers had a ton of players drafted. Yikes. Now the conference will be worse than the Ivy League in 2009.

I heard that. Know I can say that we have the biggest ****ing kicker in the NFC (nobody takes the crown from Jan whatever his name is)

They say that they are going to use him as a kickoff specialist so either they have 3 kickers on staff, or he can punt better than MacBriar (which I don't think he can), or they get rid of Folk for this guy, which would be the worst move.

Up until last year, in which the Steelers had a stellar kickoff coverage unit, I always wished we had a kickoff specialist. From 2002-2007, we couldn't tackle anybody before the 30, and it drove me crazy.

True, but in the end, I rather have a kicker who can hit field goals when we need then an extra 10 yards.

All right, how many games will the Favre led Vikings win, since he is going to talk with them

More like how many games will Favre lose for the Vikings?
