I personally believe it's okay to discuss uniforms in the springtime, so here's my two cents:
- Broncos should go back to orange crush (had a modern nostalgic feel to it)
- Houston needs to find an away uniform that isn't close to Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, or Denver's away uni's. If I'm watching on small TV I have to find my glasses just to see who the hell is playing. The Texans adopted the colors last so they should be the ones who change.
- Bengals, Cardinals, & Broncos, get rid of that ridiculous stripe between the armpit to the hip
- Falcons should go back to red helmets and silver pants (pre-Glanville era)
- Tampa Bay go back to orange uniforms. You don't see the Tennessee Volunteers complaining. In fact, they embrace the colors.
- What was so goshdarn wrong with Seattle's uniforms in the 1980's that they had to go and make them all San Diego State-ish (you know, all solid color from head to toe)?
- And to all the teams that were 90-ified by the idiotic flashy-color style in the mid-90's (Panthers, Broncos, Jaguars, Patriots, Buccaneers).....look at yourselves in the mirror, for crying out loud. And while you're at it, wake up - it's 2009.
- The Dallas "alternate" star-studded jersey just isn't...well...Dallas.
- Old Ram color shades were better, plain and simple.
- All these new "angry" animals (Cards, Dolphins, Lions) don't really scare anyone. They're just messing up classic logos.
But there is some good out of this
- Bills uni's are fine, but keep using grazing bison twice per year.
- I applaud the Chargers for going back to the white helmets.
- All Hail the Chiefs, who wear no alternate jerseys and haven't changed even the slightest tint in many, many years. (even though they will be wearing AFL jerseys for a few games this year)
- Even though the Titans kept the concept, I still like the Oilers uniforms better.
-I like the Eagles improved color scheme.
-Love the fact that the New York teams went back to old helmets.
-I've always like the Saints' uniforms. DON'T CHANGE THEM!!!!
The Rams are now on the clock!
The Detroit Lions reached an agreement Friday night with Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford to make him the first pick in the NFL draft on Saturday.
QB Matthew Stafford coming to terms with the Detroit Lions.
According to a source, Stafford will receive a six-year, $72 million deal with $41.7 million guaranteed. The contract could be worth as much as $78 million if Stafford achieves all of his playing incentives.

Awesome. Since you don't care about the uni's that much, you won't mind that Dallas "unveiled" its new uni's yesterday. I think everyone will be excited about kicking off the new stadium in these:
Good one. I didn't relize Tony Romo posed half nude.
My predictions for the draft without trades, and will be completely wrong.
Stafford
Jason Smith
Eugene Monroe
Aaron Curry
Everette Brown
BJ Raji
Michael Crabtree
Jeremy Maclin
Brian Orakpo
Tyson Jackson
A lot of people think Jackson is the best pass rusher in the draft. LB was definitely low on seattles needs list but I guess it was hard to pass on a guy who a lot of people thought was the #1 overall player in the draft. We no doubt have the best LB core in the league but if the front and back of the D cant hold it wont matter.
LOL @ the Raiders.

Fair enough but assuming he is at least 75% of what his potential is I think its still the best.
I LOVE what we did with our 2nd round pick. Turn our #37 overall into Denvers 1st round pick in 2010! what a freaking deal. Denver should hopefully be a top 15 pick next year.
